There are no instructions enclosed for seasoning. I recommend looking up initial seasoning instructions & how to care for a cast iron pan/griddle. I use a cast iron fry/sauté pan that’s lasted for 3 generations & love it. Make sure you measure carefully to fit for use on top of your stove. I ordered the smaller size which works perfectly on my gas stovetop. It can be used on your BarBQ as well.
