Best cooler pad at a somewhat steep price..
I have developed a recent obsession with laptop cooling pads, which are a must have item for anyone having a laptop. This I have realized after having used pillows, cushions etc over the years. I have tried 3 cooling pads in quick succession of which this is by far the best.It comes very well packaged. The construction is largely plastic. It has 3 additional USB ports at the back which is quite convenient. It has a on off switch for the fan along with a speed control. The fan itself is quite silent unless turned to max in which case you hear the wind, which is unavoidable unless Dyson comes out with a fan less model. Silence is extremely important from a usability perspective. Also Its comfortable on the lap and keeps my HP EliteBook cool at very low fan speeds. You might need to turn up the fan speed for gaming PCs I guess.Cooler Master is a massive brand and I regret my previous "less known brand" purchase which had 4 fans of which one stopped working almost immediately during first use. It is better to stick to a known brand based on my experience. My other "less known brand" cooling pad is working fine so far but is not match for the quality, silence and performance of this one which is admittedly much more expensive so maybe not a fair comparison.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and I recommend it highly!!

Gaming Laptop
From the offset I could see this was a fully plastic surround. Not unexpected for the price. The USB-C port to connect it to the laptop is a bit dodgy and if you lean it wrong it rests on the fans and makes a horrible grinding noise. The quality is not great in my opinion. It performs as described though and does bring the temperature of my laptop down when it is running hot. It is very easy to use as you just need to connect the fan to the USB port of your laptop, press the on button, and away you go! It’s a very light fan and easy to carry. The on/off button is very dodgy and sometimes doesn’t press in and gets stuck which is disappointing. Overall does what it says on the tin which I mean for the price, can you really ask for more?

Quiet cooler stand
Still end up with noisy fans when laptop under load. However, once the load is removed the system is cooled very quickly. My one issue is the fold out stand legs. Whilst adequate they are not lockable and if the stand is pushed back they can spring back into the folded position. The concern is that if one folds then the other may be overloaded and break.Once aware of the issue, have been careful and have not pushed the device back.Overall, quite happy.

Compact but effective
I bought this for use with my Alienware M15 R7. It only just accommodates it but does a fantastic job of keeping it cool, even when gaming it barely gets warm now and is completely cool within a minute or two of closing the game. Being so compact it's great for portability and doesn't take up too much room in my laptop bag.

Not the gamechanger I was expecting
I really should have thought it through. The description says "Silent". I know that you get silent from large, slow-moving fans. But I really hoped you'd have the ability to speed the fan up.We got some gaming laptops recently, and they get rather hot, so I got a laptop cooling pad. I read around the subject and initially got one with four smaller fans, but it sounded like concorde taking off, so I got this one instead.Seeing the very large fan, I thought it'd get good airflow but be quieter than the smaller cheaper fans in the other cooling pad.Sadly, I was mistaken. The airflow through this thing is pitiful. Also, it's not really silent, as the fan rattles in its housing a little, making a "brrrrrr" sound as it catches when it spins. but the brrr is drowned out by the noise of the laptop fans.I tested the laptop's temperature when running a 3dmark demo. Without the laptop cooling pad, the sensors reached 69oC. With the cooling pad on, the sensors reached 69oC. Not a scrap of difference, and the laptop was still howling. So I tested it with the laptop on my knee just doing drudge work, like powerpoint or surfing... The CPU sensor was 41oC without the pad, and 37oC with the pad. A minor difference, probably explained because the bottom of the laptop had been raised up. So, I tested it by holding the laptop off my knees, and sure enough the CPU was hovering about 40oC, occasionally up to 41oC. So, this pad, when working optimally, decreased the laptop temperature by ~3 degrees celsius. No noticeable difference in the fans whatsoever, they still sound like a jet engine when the laptop's playing games.I can only recommend this pad for people who have a laptop with bottom-vents that like to sit in bed with the laptop on their knees. In that use case, this is slightly better than propping the laptop on a book.It looks lovely though. Therefore, for gaming, "null points" as they say in france. For casual bedtime surfing, "quatre points" for actually lowering the laptop temps, so I'm going to split the difference and give it three points. To get four points, that massive fan would need to push a LOT more air. To get five points, the base shouldn't flex and the fan shouldn't have a slight rattle when it's turning.

Cooler for Asus Rog Strix G15 laptop
I was struggling with my overheating laptop playing games ,so I decided to buy one for my laptop and the size was perfect, made for my mine.I properly cleaned the fans before purchasing so I am not totally sure what solution exactly made such a big difference but the overheating problem has gone.Light weight, comes with build in USB ports, stable, and quiet.
