my son is 11 years old and he wanted a classic metal sonic figure to go with the other classics (and modern figures) in his collection. I went to toys r us (because its an exclusive) and I found something that resembled this. He realized that they were unable to move. they were stuck in poses. he was happy but not what he expected. so we ordered this set here and its great. the metal sonic is missing the black dot in his chest. so I painted it there and now my son is SUPER HAPPY. the only con is the durability. metal's right hand broke within a hour. but my son taped it back and now its perfectly fine. a little expensive but great

Is a good toy but is a little frail.

my son is a Sonic collector. So when i saw this...i swooped it up! unfortunatly, the wrong product arrived. However after a quick call, i recieved a return lable and, then the correct product!! woo-hoo!! in plenty of time for christmas!

The toys broke very easily. Very disappointed. They were my son's Christmas gift & he cried

Being a Sonic fan myself since I was 5 (back in 1991 when the character was first introduced). one could understand how thrilled I was when not only did my now 5 year old daughter get into the character, but they finally made TOYS of him and his friends and enemies. We own most of the jazwares figures(I buy doubles, a set for her and a set for me). I see many horror stories about faulty products and cheap craftsmanship and I must admit that with few exceptions, we've been lucky enough not to get too many of those.Which brings me to this set. I already had most of these figures as being that im a fan of sonics classic image that I grew up with, I was ecstatic when they made figures in his early likeness. I really only bought this set for the exclusive classic Metal Sonic to complete my classic lineup. Unfortunately, this figure suffers from a shoddy paint job that renders some of his joints immovable. Luckily I was able to find this same set a week later at a local retailer for a reasonable price and they had a few of them in stock and after scanning through 2 or three of them I finally found a set where the Metal Sonic was intact and did not suffer the above mentioned issues.My advice to you is, be careful when ordering this set especially if you are a collector like me who likes to still take the toys out and play with them with your kids! If you get a good one, this set is fantastic and fun but you should use caution as these toys aren't made like they used to be and if mishandled, they can and will break. If you excersize a little caution when first removing the figures from the package (carefully apply pressure towards the joint and twist slowly til you feel the joints move easily), these figures do hold up and last a long time. The trick is being a bit anal retentive as a consumer and trying to find the figure in the best shape whilst still in the box before you purchase.
