I bought this for my 3-year-old french bulldog. Although she's a small dog, she has a thick bulldog neck so I ordered a medium. It was a little thicker than I expected because it's nicely padded, which was a nice surprise. It fits well, and looks and feels high quality. My husband, who used to do hand leatherworking, is impressed with how well the collar is made. For her muscular neck, the collar is perfect.

These dog collars are beautifully made. I ordered it because it was leather, and for sheepskin lining . I had to return it because I needed something a little more lightweight for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has a genetic condition called syringomyelia.

So, update, as of 11-17-22 I am very disappointed that after only 3 months of use Adias collar is coming undone at the seams. I was hoping for a long lasting collar but now Adias collar is starting to fall apart and I am very disappointed.I love these collars but now I am sad to see them coming undone.I got these Collars because I was sick of always replacing the collars and my 3 Doberman Pinschers Adia-Imala-Amity.I figured it was worth a shot, to spend a little extra $$ now and hopefully luck out and save $$ in the long run!! I just crossed my fingers and hoped these collars would be as advertised!!Because at the rate my girls where going I was constantly replacing broken collars and was losing $$ faster then I could keep up.I took a shot on these Collars and boy am I glad I did!! I have not seen genuine leather collars like this in a long time!! They are heavy duty and the care that went into making these collars shows!!I don't have any doubt that these collars will last me a long time and have been exactly what I have been looking for!!Take the leap and see for yourself!You won't be disappointed!

When dogs play, a flimsy web or thin leather collar can get twisted into a figure 8 and loop around the lower half of another dog's jaw. This happened to us twice with different dogs, and in each case one of the dogs would have been strangled if we weren't standing right there to get the collar off. That is why only use thick leather collars that can't twist. This collar is perfect and sturdy enough to hold up to our shepherd's rough biting play and wrestling with each other. I have one dog that is between the medium and large size, so do wish there was a size in between that would be just right for her. I highly recommend this collar.

Looks nice

The media could not be loaded.  This seems like a nice leather collar (even smells a little like a tack store) and it fits my 6mo Anatolian/Pyrenees really well with room for her to grow. Unfortunately, the product images are really misleading. The above is what I ordered, the two pictures below are what was sent, and the tag on the box matches the order (indicating that the wrong color collar wasn’t sent).

Originally, I had planned on getting this collar for my largest female dog, however, it was too small for her. Luckily, the collar fit my second largest dog (a Samoyed) perfectly! The collar is well made and gives every indication that it is durable.
