Easy to put together and looks great
I’ve been looking for a monitor stand with an additional shelf to give me more room on my desk. This stand was the perfect size, it’s sturdy and looks great. Best of all, it was very easy to put together. It came with an Allen wrench so I didn’t even need any of my own tool to put it together.

Good desk storage
Fits my 24" monitor no problem. The stand is deep enough to accommodate the larger monitor base, that's one of the reasons I got this one. I store my work laptop (15.6")/keyboard/mouse/headset in the shelves and they all fit with room to spare. The material is not the best quality, but hasn't chipped or dented at all yet which is good. The little stickers to cover the screw holes aren't the most attractive, but for the price that's expected. The shelves come as two separate pieces so there's a seam down the middle, I had no problem assembling so that they line up but it's not the sleekest look. If I wanted to shell out the money for a solid wood, no seams, great looking shelf I could have I guess - but the price of this couldn't really be beat. This solved my issue of not having enough desk space, and raises my monitor to a much more comfortable height. Feels sturdy and I'm glad I purchased!

Very sturdy, but a little cheap looking.
First of all, if all you need is a sturdy monitor stand with an extra shelf, this will work just fine. It was packed very nicely, and wasn't damaged in transit, but there is a flaw on the edge of the top shelf which appears to have been there before packing. The two shelves are weirdly designed - each shelf is in two pieces, which you attach with dowels and a metal bar with screws. This leaves a seam (more of a crack than a seam) down the middle of each shelf, which is a very odd way to do it, in my mind. Why not make the box a little bigger and have the shelves be all one piece? The integrity of the shelves is not compromised because of the metal bar which goes across the center of each shelf and supports the shelf, but it's still weird. The bar is about 3/4 of an inch thick, which also impacts the usable space. The height of each shelf space measured at the opening is right at 2 3/4 of an inch. Because of the bar, the actual usable space is around 2 inches. Keep that in mind; if you have a keyboard that's taller than 2 inches, it might not fit in the space! Mine does, thankfully. My other gripe is the screw covers. They are small discs of the laminate material with adhesive on the back. You just stick them on top of the screws. The problem is, the screws are countersunk, so you either have to take great care to get the little patch exactly in the center of the hole so it sticks all the way around the edges with dead air under them, or you have to squish them down in the hole to make contact with the screw head. Either way looks odd. Plus, the color of the dots isn't quite the same as the shelves, so the dots stand out. Again, weird. BUT... all that being said, it's a fine stand. At 9.5 inches deep, it's the right size to accommodate my big monitor, and I can put my laptop with the dock on the middle shelf without the laptop hanging off the front. At 20 inches wide, my big gaming keyboard fits underneath with room to spare. The top shelf is plenty sturdy enough for the monitor, no worries about it collapsing or tipping. I'm happy enough with it, even if it does look a bit cheap. For the price, if you're wanting a sturdy functional stand, it's a good choice. If you're wanting beauty and grace, keep looking.

Great stand for Monitor
Great stand for my monitor. Not only raised my monitor to a more comfortable height, but it provides a place for my keyboard so I can work on my desktop. Very easy to assemble - less than 15 minutes. More sturdy than I expected when I opened the box. I'm sure it would easily hold a monitor larger than my 21-inch one. I would have given it five stars for value if it had been just a bit cheaper.

Almost perfect
$28 Australian dollars, fast delivery, easy construction, well chosen materials and fixings… I would have happily paid a little more for each shelf to be a single piece but it’s not a big deal, especially at this price, and as per the photos they are well supported underneath. For reference that’s a 27 inch iMac weighing about 8Kg I think.Height-wise I measured 17.2 cms to the top (including plastic feet) which was also the highest of any comparable products and a key reason for purchase.
