Bought this to fit my 1inch barbell for doing squats as I was having a problem with the bar squishing in between my top two vertebrate and not sitting on my traps correctly.I was dubious whether some kind of pad would actually work as I've read mixed opinion on using a pad on barbells for doing squats so I took a chance this as it's relatively cheap compared to similar items.Without using the pad I wouldn't be able to squat more than 40kg simply because of how uncomfortable the bar was, with the pad so far I've been able to squat 70kg and that will be increasing so I'd say that is a considerable improvement.

This product is cheap in every sense.The quality is terrible, but you can't expect anything amazing for money.If your just starting out it will get you off the line, but it won't help with any serious weight.

Am very pleased with the product. I found other squat pads were too thick and pushed me forward too much. This one is thinner so suits me better.

For the price this item is perfect, admittedly it is a bit thin, I may be buying a 2inch thick one in the near future, however for what I need it for (squats) it will do for now!

Definitely a thin barbell cover but makes squats remarkably more comfortable. Great benefits considering very small price.
