Don't see why not, it's just a small rubber like any other which work with charcoal, but it just does fine details.

Does it come with a rubber included?

Yes, I think one plus a spare. Had mine for several years now and still very useful. Enough to be on my second pack of refills.

Does the silver of the pen wear off at all with use?

I have used this item for over 6 months now and it doesnt show any sign of wear yet. (I could be wrong but it feels like aluminium rather than plastic?) it's a great product either way.
