Can it be attached to the internal part of a upvc door?

did on mine but broke easily due to heavy handed delivery man a week after fitting, could have been made a bit more robust, hope this helps.

The plate simply screws onto the back of the door. PVC will probably accept screws. It might help to drill small pilot holes first.
