Q: can you put real candles in this? the ones with flame?

Dont know, as I used mine for air plants and also as Christmas decorations, contact seller for information using real flam, but use a battery operated candles as these work well also

Q: What did you hang them with. I dont want to use ribbon or twine i ideally want clear wire so you cant see the wire

I used cotton. The glass is very light so simple sewing cotton is strong enough. I have them hanging from trees in our snow chapel in Lapland.

Q: The 8cm i dont like led candles i want to use normal tealights or is this not possible

I have used normal tea lights and they have been fine. You have to be careful if the wax runs over and sticks the tea light to the glass. I used washing up liquid and warm water and released. Be careful though, as the glass feels fragile.
