You have done it again good story ......but how I wish you would not finish your stories so abruptly it really is so annoying and a shame ..... you must have your reasons .....just another page would soften the dissatisfied finish ,leaving your reading followers happy ....I have read every one of your books .....this is a bad thought you have with most of them .....Sorry Mary

This book was not what I expected from Danielle Steel. I usually go for her books for light relief after reading a more serious book. This was a very good book with such a serious subject that was not skimmed over. One saw the damage and the suffering caused by the crime but also survival and learning and moving on.I was sucked in from the beginning and could not put it down. I was thinking about it for a while after.I have no hesitation in giving this book 5 stars, it's well worth reading.

Started reading this while on a family holiday and have never been so a anti-social just could not put this book down its a great read have already recommended it and one of my friends who bought it txt to thank me as she is loving it. I haven't read a Danelle Steel book in year's and only bought it for going on holiday as it was on special offer but I have already bought another two of her' s lets hope there as good.

Haven't read this author for years and I have to say I cried, and my heart broke all the way through this one woman's journey in a man's world. She went through the ringer and I went with her. Danielle steel wrote it in such a way as I felt every emotion, the anger I felt at times was unbelievable. It is about abuse which can be a taboo subject for some readers but it's not graphic or over used part of the story.

I started this book with out any preconception of its content yesterday morning, I also went shopping, I ironed, I went for a walk, watched a film. Today I’ve not had breakfast yet, but I have just finished this book, once you pick it up you won’t be able to stop, every spare minute you will be hooked! Simply brilliant, although a sad indictment of the times we live in. A story that needed to be told.

Danielle Steel is a great writer? I read this at a time when the subject of child abuse is very much in the news and topical. DS' understanding and empathy is truly amazing and the amount of research she carries out for all her books I have read to date is phenonimal.

As is the normal with a Danielle Steel's book, it is hard to put down. The story takes you on a really journey, and you keep reading just one more page 😊

This book ticked all the boxes for me. I keep saying Ms Steele can't get any better and then she pulls another diamond out of the bag. This has everything.strength.violence.betrayal but most of all LOVE
