Bullet points.1) Most important question I had before the purchase and I just could not find an answers anywhere online. How many drivers this unit has? It has 4 drivers, not just two as advertised and as you could see from the pictures. It has two main drivers/woofers and two tweeters. Tweeters are situated/hidden inside the holes that are on the left side of the unit if standing vertically or on top if laying horizontally.2) Is it good to be used as a karaoke speaker when connected to TV? At first I thought I am going to return it when my family tried to sing as the sound of the voice coming out dull (none of my family member can sing anyways, so dull I mean sound of the voice). But, after playing around with the sound effects and equalizers on LG FH6 it sounds very good now. I have connected LG FH6 to my Sony TV via RCA and found the best volume combination between TV and microphones (FH6 has separate volume control for microphones). When playing karaoke song on YouTube it sounds very clear and the voice comes out clear and more real as well (unfortunately this won’t help my family to be better singers).3) Will DJ effects make this machine better fun ? NO, in my opinion it is just waste of buttons on the unit. I wish the round scratcher controller could be used as a volume controller instead as you just want to turn it every time you want to increase or reduce the volume. Hopefully LG will make it amendable via software somehow.4) How useful is the app to control this speaker? The app is good but, lacks of the volume control, for example if you listen to the FM radio you will have to use LG FH6 remote. Also, despite the app can switch the unit ON it cannot switch it Off.5) How bright the light effects? Not bright at all. They are there to light up on the speaker`s drivers and not bright enough to bring more mood into the room. I wish the lights could be brighter and the brightness to be controlled via the app.6) How good is the remote controller? It is very well equipped with all you need buttons to control the speaker from sofa.You might think now why did I not mention anything about the power of the speaker. TBH, 600Watts RMS says it all. It is very LOUDR !Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I had to do a lot of research as I needed very LOUDR speaker to have the portability and karaoke option with own remote controller. There are not a lot of this type of universal speakers out there and from very well known brands. I never had any LG products before but, will be considering LG for everything else in future.I hope this review will help you to make the right purchase choice.

Ok so first things first this thing is heavy like if you're planning on moving this alot then be prepared, and it's big, but that's the only downside I see from this and to be honest the weight is expected.The sound quality on this thing is insane for the price I paid around £135 but even at full price this thing is insane and loud , the bass is nice , could do with a separate subwoofer if you're wanting abit more but this thing should do you fine. Just to add no distortion even at full volume not that I ever have it at full it's that loud.I do also use this speaker to watch TV and movies which again is a great experience with excellent clarity.The lights I actually like just adds something and the DJ effects are fun to mess around with when bored 😂This is the best speaker you'll get for this price range, best money I've spent if you see one on offer just buy it

I'm no technical buff, but this speaker is the best sound quality I've had in terms of being portable. The bass is amazing and does not distort at high volume. The additional sound effects add to the fun but kids will annoy you with their determination to press the buttons and disturb the music. Fantastic looking LED which you can turn off with the LG app. The remote is helpful but can lag a little bit the Bluetooth connection is also very reliable.What more do you want from a £150.00 speaker?

This speaker is very loud with crisp sound, even at very high volumes.I previously bought the Sony GTK- XB7 but, I was disappointed with the sound quality- at higher volume the levels the sound was muffled. Instead, I returned the Sony speaker and purchased this speaker (LG FH6) and was pleasantly greeted with features such as Bass adjustment, amongst other EQ settings; and DJ effects. Overall the speaker produces punchy bass with consistent crisp sound (great for drum and bass).The lights are a fun feature of the speaker however, I think that the strobe light should be bigger- I loved the strobe flashing on the GTK- XB7. The android app can be used to change the colours and speed of the flashing lights. This gives you the ability to customise the speaker to match the mood of the music and setting. There is also many preset light settings.Like the GTK-XB7 this speaker comes with a neat controller, which allows you to operate almost all of the features of the speaker without having to move more than a finger.The speaker easily connects to bluetooth devices, but can also be connected and Aux port, via a "Jack 2 RCA" cable (which can be purchased on Amazon for around £5). This is in feature allows the customer to use the speaker which older devices, such as MP3 players that do not support the bluetooth function. Finally, the speaker offers USB playback- so that a USB can be placed in the top of the unit to play songs that are on the USB through the speakers.I have discovered that playing music through the bluetooth function produces the "cleanest" sound and the speaker can reach much higher volumes.The speaker is very big, measuring at 92.3 x 40.3 x 45.6 Centimetres- so it's important you have enough space in your room to fit your speaker! The size, in addition to the weight may make it less practical to transport so i wouldn't recommend carrying it around. However, handles are located on the top and bottom of the speaker to help ergonomics of the device whilst transporting.The speaker also has a digital display- to make operating the speaker easier to operate.My favourite feature of the speaker is the Alarm which can be set to wake you up at any customised time using USB music playback or FM Radio (the speaker comes with an Ariel wire, which can be plugged into the back of the speaker). The Alarm can be set using the controller- which is very fiddly and frustrating because there's no clear instructions in the manual- and can also be set using the android App. It's nice to be woken up by the sound of Classical music!!
