Definitely worth it.
Bought this due to ongoing heart problems that started a few years ago. Had surgery and a Pacemaker fitted but often have issues.Hospital would fit me with a 24 hour monitor but as the issues are sporadik it would always miss. This isn't without its flaws but its done its job perfectly and I've now got ECG printouts showing the issues I'm having.Yes it's pricy but the NHS varient is 2k!Make sure you have an ios device though as currently it doesn't support android.

Unreliable software APP, for the iPhone.
I like the product and the idea of being able to track live, ones ecg. However the software lets it down badly, with constant freezes and crashes making it unreliable.Looking at other reviews this problem was reported last year but no update has been issued to cure the problem. This is a shame as the unit is quite expensive but would be worth the cost, if the tracking App worked properly.Unless there is an immediate software update to cure the problem, I will be returning the unit as “not fit for use”.

Good and useful, but has limitations
I think firstly any purchaser needs to be aware this doesn't diagnose heart conditions. It doesn't, for example, ping to identify possible AFib or ectopic activity. You need to be able to spot and recognise potential irregular activity yourself and then send it to a cardiologist for advice. For that purpose it was useful for me, because I have symptomatic irregular beats, and this device allowed me to make a personal note of the times of day they occurred and track back through the recording to print them off and send to my doctor. It is a little frustrating you are only allowed to print off 30-second recording strips, which empthasises the point about being able to notice the irregularities yourself and note the time/date. Scanning through 8 hours of recording overnight for example, is simply impossible in its current app format. To add to many of the other reviews here, potential is great, execution of the software not quite there yet.All said and done though, my cardiologist commended the recording quality, and this is the only alternative device to having leads strapped to your chest, which is obviously impractical long term.

Work in Progress
Looks great, however on the 3rd day of use the app under IOS crashes on startup so currently unuseable! Support is invoked within the app so it's Impossible to signal for assistance from within the app as it crashes. Tried all the usual tyre kicking, ie restart iPhone (its a 6). Conceptually great but currently work in progress. Hopefully the app will get better otherwise it will be a waste of money. It costs £300 more than alternatives (non wearable ones it has to be admitted) so it could prove an expensive error of choice. When it was working, during the first 2 days, it showed some weaknesses, ie battery life about 18 hrs so a little limiting for a full days worth. It's step counter seems more optimistic by about 20-30% compared to other alternatives which use the iPhone. Improvements certainly possible as it could have better integration with sports related gadgets such as rowing machines/cycling monitors. Currently it's very much orientated to its own Qardio world but as I already have the Withings (sorry Nokia) Body Cardio & Blood Pressure one can't justify getting the Qardio versions especially as the app is decidedly wonky. Best ti look at currently as firmly situated in the "health" arena and not in the "sports" segment.Currently merits less than 3 stars but let's be positive as it merits more, much more once the app gets some decent bug fixing.

Reassuring product
I purchased this product shortly after having several heart attacks, the second day I had it, it detected a irregular heart beat which was an oncoming heart attack. This little gadget gave me more than enough notice that something was wrong thus saved my life. I now wear it everyday. Additionally it tracks and records steps which is great. To conclude if you will need a smart phone to monitor this product.

Does not fit everyone
This device did not fit me well, either in normal or revrse mode. The problem I have discovered I have with this machine is a pronounced is a pronounced sternum which makes getting contact on all four sensors problematic. I could get a stable signal but only when abosultely still.Any sort of movement would send the data haywire until I stopped moving and adopted a pose (Usually lying down) when the cardiac display would settle down and work properly. As a result I returned my device for a refund. Please understand that this was my experience and that my body does not work with this device. Otherwise it was as described and of very good quality manufacture. There was a problem emailing the cario graph to anyone at the time which I understand has now been fixed! I assume it was a problem at the server end of the phone app system. One thing about the capabilities I was definately not happy with. Getting the raw data and long term > 30 Second carido graphs is not possible (AFAIK). Your Dr/Gp will need to sign up to the medical version of teh app to get it which I doubt will happen in the UK.
