Very good - works just like it should
I was pleasantly surprised that this remote came with the battery installed! It took me about 5 seconds to program this to my alarm...frustrating that the alarm company wanted $45 for the remote + $89 service charge to program it!For those needing programming instructions, I was able to find them by Googling "Code Encryptor 3 programming" and it brought up the manual. To program mine I popped the cover off of the receiver (it was in my attic) and then pressed the program button. An LED light flashed to let me know it was in program mode and then I pressed the "Lock" button on the remote 3 times. It was just that easy!!!!
