Whilst I would argue that the imagery of using it as a cork holder is pretty useless, the functionality of the foil cutter, which is basically why we are all buying it, or looking to buy, is second to none. The four blade version provides a good clean cut of the bottles foil with little effort. The cut is smooth and clean with very little pressure required, nor a great many rotations of the bottle. Having had this since Christmas, the foil cutter remains sharp, having now been tested on a variety of both cheap and expensive bottles.

I needed a new foil cutter so thought this one looked good and it has not disappointed. it is easy to use and cuts the foil perfectly.

Easy to use and cuts the foil first time, unlike alternative versions I have used. Let's hope it lasts.

Saves you from cuts!

I bought this because I wanted a foil cutter. Unfortunately, this does not cut the foil on a wine bottle. You need to twist and press the 'cutter' repeatedly and only after considerable effort it makes a few random cuts. It is also very uncomfortable to use. This item is totally useless and not fit for purpose. Don't waste your money, this is complete rubbish.

This was great till a wheel fell off three months after purchase. Now it's useless.It was super easy to use but the plastic bit needs to be more robust. I expected better from Vacu Vin.

Best foil cutter for the price you can buy - thicker foils? I just sqeeze that bit harder! In simple terms - it works quickly and easily. (I have no business interests in this item, my comments are from practical use in my own home)

This brand of foil cutter actually works really well and seems quite robust.Only time will tell about the longevity of it.Other designs and brands have not started the course when used repeatedly.Worth paying the price for one that works!
