Chew them for easy swallowing
These are great for leg cramps and low potassium, I have noticed others seem to think they are large and hard to swallow, which is true, but I chew them quickly then gulp some water and they go down a treat.

CURED DEBILITATING CRAMP AFTER 40 YEARS OF MISERY
PROS: 1) Effective and efficacious 2) Inexpensive CONS: 1) Ridiculous size 2) Ridiculous shape Firstly, a word of warning: self-medication is extremely dangerous and no food supplement should ever be used without prior advice from a doctor. Ever since I was a teenager (in the 1970s) I have suffered badly from seriously debilitating cramps. I’m not talking discomfort, but agony, sometimes for hours on end. I have fallen 16ft with my legs locked in a chair shape when skateboarding in California in competition with the TV commentator shouting “Oh my God, one of the Brits has taken a bad fall!” I have woken a girlfriend up in the middle of the night with my leg sticking in the air. She put her whole body weight of about 8 stone (50kg) on my leg and it wouldn’t go down. I have had my ex-wife and my 4 children massage my legs for 3 hours after playing a football tournament in 33degC heat....so you can see I really have had a bad time of it. My doctor discovered I was suffering from pernicious anaemia, a condition that prevents the body from absorbing vitamin B12 through the digestive tract. I have been having regular B12 injections, but though they helped, they didn’t eradicate it. I was still suffering with cramps in the vastus medialis and sartorius muscles (leg muscles at the bottom of the thigh and inner thigh) and in the intercostal msucles. The intercostals are between your ribs and help in breathing. I would regularly get cramps and have to punch myself in the ribs to release the cramps which makes me look like a nutter. Now, after 4 months of Solgar Potassium tablets I haven’t had a single cramp! This is remarkable because I spent 3 weeks in Cyprus where I ran about playing beach football in 35degC heat and sweated wildly. Therefore, I believe I am now cured of a condition which wreaked havoc on my life for so long. Ironically, the American doctor who examined me at the skatepark in California gave me a prescription of Potassium gluconate pills. They took 3 days to work, but they did the trick. It was just a shame I didn’t remember this back in 1979. Everyone’s body is different and thus the pharmacokinetics (the way the drug works in the body and the speed) will be slightly different. All I know, for £5-£6 a month, I am cured of the most horrible condition. BUY THEM, DOTTORE APPROVED!

A word of caution to anyone ill-equipped to handle raw-tablets
A good quality product and an overall invaluable weapon; in the battle against Fibromyalgia. I would have awarded a fifth star, however these tablets are not film-coated; and therefore can prove difficult to swallow.

Great supplement for my elderly cat
I'm using these tablets for my elderly cat with chronic kidney disease and has low potassium levels. He started looking very wobbly on his back then front legs and he tested for low potassium so vet recommended started potassium tablets. I've been giving these daily for over a week and can see an improvement in his legs and his steadiness, so I'm happy. The tablets are huge, I cut and crush them and put the correct dose into empty capsules to pill my cat, luckily he is very cooperative with pilling.

Great for preventing leg cramps
I have been taking these for 5 months now, long enough for me to write a review about this supplement. I can confirm that within a month of my taking these, my legs have stopped the painful cramping altogether. I used to suffer terribly, both during the day and especially nocturnally. At night I used to always be jumping out of bed and reaching for the Ibuprofen to relax my calf muscles. I take 3 tablets each morning. I also take a magnesium supplement at night, which helps me to sleep. The only downside to this supplement is the size and shape of the tablets, they can be difficult to swallow. I highly recommend these for the elimination of leg cramps. I recommended them to my Aunt and they work for her also.

Big tablets
I was really looking forward to these as I wanted to boost my potassium levels. Unfortunately found these to be very big and difficult to swallow so I had stopped taking them after about a week - shame really as can’t attest to whether they actually work

No more pain!
Three years ago the doctor told me I had low potassium and to eat more bananas, potatoes and leafy greens. Duly noted. It went up a bit and they made no further reference to it. Now for months I've had aching muscles and fatigue. I take vitamin b12 as I have trouble absorbing it after a bowel cancer operation so assumed it was something I had to put up with until after a routine diabetic blood test showed I still had very low potassium levels which they have known for months and didn't bother to inform me! After 2 days on these I feel 10 years younger. No cramps or muscle pain. More recently I was also getting heart palpitations as well! A+ to these. F- to the NHS with their failure to inform me of my dangerous potassium levels.

Parfait. « Vrai » SOLGAR. (?) ) : 08/2022.

The Solgar Potassium Gluconate has become a essential part of my daily wellness routine. I love that it’s Non-GMO, Vegan, and Gluten-Free, which aligns perfectly with Solgar’s reputation for clean, high-quality supplements. The tablets are easy to swallow and don't leave any unpleasant aftertaste. Since I started taking them, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in maintaining my electrolyte balance and reducing occasional muscle cramps. With 100 tablets per bottle, it’s a great value for a premium brand that I truly trust for its purity and potency.
