Didn’t work for my toilet seat

They did the job for me. I was looking for a set with pins that were relatively shorter to the ones that came with the seat I have and these fitted the bill. Glad to report that the seat sits tight. The holes in my toilet pan are a little small and only 10mm deep but these fittings sit tight as the lower part pulls up and secures the fixing against the ceramic. Important that you check the holes of your seat as these pins come at almost 8mm thick.

You have to watch the dimensions of these things carefully. I didn't look at the width of the spar and had to drill out the holes in the seat hinges to fit. Then they are taller than my current ones so the seat doesn't sit flush (hah, flush!) on the toilet now. My mistakes but my advice would be, measure everything carefully or get a whole new seat. The plastic retainers didn't expand wide enough in the holes in the toilet to hold the lid in either, had to make something up to get around that. No complaint about the product though.
