It's much softer than other brands so should work well. Might stick a bit of too warm though

is this water proof/weatherproof once baked? will it be suitable for an outdoor ornament?

I doubt if any polymer clay is suitable for outdoor projects. However, if the baked model is thoroughly coated with some sort of waterproof varnish the result might be satisfactory. Also bear in mind that that baked polymer clay is rather brittle and is easily damaged.

Hello, Sculpey III polymer clays are non-toxic, man-made modeling materials. There is a faint odour when modelling with it and when baking but it is a safe material to use with children and once baked it is permanently hard. It isn't recommended for making crockery for use with food and drink but for it is purely for the craft/ modelling market. I hope this helps. Many thanks.
