Not anything special
Bought this in the hope it would make life easier taking old sealant off windows...it was just as quick as a small flat screwdriver. It had the extra scraper which was a good feature. However that was all that was an added extra to a small screwdriver.

Good for removing sealant - I personally didn’t find it that easy to use for finishing sealant

Victorian Systems - 3 in 1 Silicone Sealant Remover Tool
One of the most monotonous jobs when fitting new bathrooms is having to remove silicone around the old bathroom suite so that it can be removed.I usually cut it with a Stanley blade and then pull the larger bits away by hand and then scrape the remaining bits with a chisel, so I thought I would give one of these sealant removal tools a try.The bulk of the tool is made from plastic, with the exception of the removal part of the tool being made from metal. The metal end of the tool has a V-shape that you can push into and pull against the silicone that you want to remove. You also have a plastic scraper for removing silicone from flat surfaces and a silicone spreading tool for smoothing and cleaning up new beads of silicone – this part of the tool slides forward over the scraper. In the pack you get 5 different radius silicone spreaders that simply push into place.***** In The Box *****1 x 3 in 1 Silicone Tool5 x Spreaders***** Conclusion *****So far, I’m not entirely sold on this particular type of tool.I have used it a few times and the results are a bit hit and miss with silicone removal. I found the best way of using it is to cut the bead with a Stanley blade and then run the V scraper back and forth along it.The silicone spreader part works pretty well and is very similar to one that I have used for a while. The tool feels a little flimsy, but is reasonable value for money at just over £5.

Great value and neat design
I've tried this sort of tool before and I think it works well but I don't think you can beat the razor-sharp scraper blade for removing silicone, especially on tiles. That said, these metal corner srapers are pretty handy for shifting the bulk of the silicone grout. I'm not convinced about the plastic scraper on the other end at all, but I understand the thinking that led to it being there.I do like the selection of interchangeable grout finishing tips, though. What a great idea that is!On my sample, a couple of screws needed tightening, as the grout application slider was flapping around loosely, but that was easy enough to do.All in all this is good value and gets my applause for the novel grout pads, which is a really neat idea. Useful!

Not so great
I couldn't get on with it. I just ended up with a bit of a mess. Went back to using a screwdriver and a finger.

I resorted to using a kitchen knife
I gave up in the end and used a kitchen knife. I simply couldn’t get it to remove the silicon easily. It just kind of stabbed at it in bits. Like I said was easier just to use a sharp knife and then my finger to smooth the new silicon in place.
