usually when i buy something cheap and mildly technical like this, it does a ton of useless stuff that gets in the way, the instructions are garbage or it does what I want but only just. I found this easy to use, the instructions were clear and honestly ... kinda fun?

I found this pretty easy to use, my only problem was some of the tests where quite hard to read and understand the results. I bought it mainly to test for lead in my water but found it hard to read the lines as it was not as clear as what i would have hoped for but eventually had to come to my own conclusion that it tested negative. So it was able to put my mind at ease a little but would have liked it to have been a little more clearer for a 100% clear answer. Could not understand the result for the pesticide test as the lines did not match up with anything in the instruction booklet and had a conflicting result for the Ph level test but other than that I did find it quite useful however maybe a little expensive for what it is.

The product name listed on Amazon is inaccurate, as it doesn't t match the one on the product. It should say City water, which is the one I bought, also on the packaging it doesn't say just City Water test kit , but both names are on the label, and only when opened I realised which kit version I had when no Iron or Copper was included in the kit.

The kit arrived in good condition and proved easy to use - and gave a satisfactory clear result. Very satisfied.

Needed to test the town's water supply to a cottage that was built well over a hundred years ago, As it had lead piping? Tested negative but needed a test kit that would put my mind at rest, This kit ticked all the boxes, also? It tested for bacterial! And pesticides! as well. Well worth the price.

The main reason I bought this product is because it included a "lead" test. I have tried to follow instructions to the letter, but the pipette doesn't work properly and so it is incredibly difficult to know what "two pipettes-ful" (as per instructions) is equivalent to. Considering it is just water, not some dangerous substance, just put a small line or a mark on the actual plastic cup used for test (which is included) and tell the customer to fill with water until the mark! Much easier, much more accurate, no confusion. Whether because the pipette was malfunctioning or for other reasons, the lead test came back as inconclusive so this was a waste of £20. In fairness, it seemed more accurate than other brands for testing other parameters (e.g. water hardness). In hindsight, I would NOT buy this as I have since realised that my local water company can provide tests of water quality. If you're in the UK and that's what you are after, do not buy this, contact your water company instead.

Arrived the next day after ordering. Very simple and easy to use having a magnifier available to read results does help but not essential. I had no problem understanding how to use it the instructions are clear enough.

Very complete test, easy to use. Would recommand it to any one Who need to perform an in house test

Super easy to use to test the quality of your water. All of the results come back quickly - some are instant, a couple are in tens of minutes, and the bacteria one is 48 hours. All very reasonable times. The included test strips were easy to read and didn't leave any doubt in my mind as to the efficacy of the tests. The indicated colors are clear and very pronounced. A couple of the tests I did not really need as I either already knew the outcome or had other devices to measure it. However, that helped me see that those tests were accurate, so that I could have confidence in the other tests, too. My digital hardness meter agreed with the test strip. And the result for chlorine came back negative, which it should since my water is not treated with it. In my opinion, the handbook that outlines how to perform the tests is written in a way that is easy to understand for anyone.

Ottimo kit monouso per l'analisi dell'acqua. Nel foglio illustrativo interno sono elencate le semplici istruzioni da seguire in inglese. In un foglio aggiuntivo sono elencate anche le istruzioni in tedesco. Il kit è sigillato in 3 bustine plastificate suddivise per tipologia. I risultati per l'analisi batteriologica si ottengono dopo 48 ore, quelli sui metalli pesanti dopo 10 minuti ed per i restanti test basta 1 minuto. Semplice da utilizzare e utile per escludere o evidenziare eventuali presenze di impurità o metalli pesanti come il piombo, introdotte a causa di impianti di vecchia data.
