Silhouette Premium Blade for Cameo, Curio and Portrait Cutters - Lasts 3X Longer

I've had my Sil Portrait for 6 years or so now and during that time have gone through numerous 'ordinary' blades as I broke quite a few in the early days of trying to figure out settings etc. And then just got so frustrated with cuts not being clean or having other problems, so when I saw this blade I figured it worth at least trying to see whether it might be of any use, and I'm SO glad I did.It is so much easier to use than the standard blade as you don't have to 'click' it to its setting - just roll it round easily. But the beauty of it is that the cuts are consistently good and with a much longer lifespan than the standard I know it will save me a lot of money in years to come.Can't recommend highly enough!!

Easy to install, cuts well, will wait and see how long it lasts as it's supposed to be the "upgrade" to the regular cutter.

I got this precision blade for my Curio machine as the normal black/blue blades were cutting my carrier sheet and I must say what a difference as you can adjust the blade as little or much as you like so much so I got another one (all us crafters like at least one spare blade ) well worth the extra cost as works out cheaper than buying a new carrier sheet every time.

So far, so good. Like the fact that a separate tool is not required to change the setting. I haven't had this long enough to work out whether it is more economical than the standard replacement blades.

Cuts like a dream

I am very disappointed with this blade - it doesn't cut my usual card on my usual setting - I have to turn the setting up and even then it's a poor cut. I'm having to do double cuts just to cut my normal 160gsm card. The only good thing about this blade is you don't need a tool to alter the setting on it. I shall unfortunately now have to order the original silhouette blade and put this purchase down to an expensive mistake.

After my last blade broke after 10 cuts, I hoped this would last longer. So far, so good but still need to see in time. I love how you can change the blade without using the grey cap, it's built in.

Very good will be sticking to it.
