Brilliant straighteners. Sleek, three heat settings, does the job.

These Straighteners are very good for my hair which is quite thick and wavy. You need to be careful as the sides of the plates, used for curling, are hot to touch and, as I was used to flat plates, I caught my hand a few times before I got the hang of them. They are easy to operate and I only use the second of the three heat settings which is fine. They heat up very quickly and my favourite thing about them is that when you've finished and put them down, they don't try to flip onto their side, meaning I don't have to worry about scorching anything. My old ones were very 'swivelly' and it took a few attempts before I trusted them to leave unattended. Shame they don't lock for travel which is a useful feature but not essential. I think this is a good product for the money and although I've never had GHDs they are the third make and model I've used and the best straighteners so far.

I've always bought BaByliss Straighteners and have never been disappointed, and this didn't either! A great product, and glides through hair and grips it perfectly with no pulling. I was apprehensive before purchasing about the fact that there was only 3 heat settings, but it hasn't been an issue. I've straightened my normally frizzy unruly hair on the lowest and middle setting and it has done the job more than perfectly and very quickly. Some reviews I read before purchase mentioned the button being in an awkward position and that it switches off accidentally in use, but this has never happened to me. The heat up time is fast, and they are lightweight which along with the long swivel cord makes it easy to use. One of the best features about this product is the heat proof mat which doubles as basically a case for the straighteners. It wraps up really well so does not take up a lot of space when storing. Delivery was quick, and was very well packaged, with the straightener box within another larger box padded all the way around with paper. Best thing was the £25 price tag at the time of buying compared to £75+ everywhere else I looked!

I thought that because they were so much cheaper these would not be able to compare to my previous GHD straighteners but they have been excellent and I am really happy with them. Really long cord; heat up quickly; three heat settings and nice long plates. They come with a heat resistant "mat/wrap" which is great for transporting them. They straighten well but maybe with a fraction less "shine" in the result compared to my GHD's but to be honest I like that slightly less silky and more textured look. I think they will curl well too but I'm not yet good at that and need a lesson. Anyone? The build quality is understandably not as good as the more expensive brands but they are nice and light which I think is an advantage as less arm ache. The only real drawback I can see is that they can get a bit hot over the outside and you have to be sure to hold them nearer to the base and not too far up by the plates but once you know its not a problem.

I was a little hesitant on buying these as I’ve had the same pair of GHD’s for around 12 years now and they’ve only just stopped working. I was going to buy another pair but I didn’t really want to spend as much. So I looked around at a few straighteners and I liked these ones as I didn’t just want plain black ones. There were a lot of great reviews and people saying they are better than GHD’s and then others saying they didn’t work when they arrived. But I thought for the sake of the price I would give them a go and if they were terrible I’d just end up paying out for the GHD’s. So are they actually any good? Yes, definitely. I like that you can choose a heat setting whereas the GHD’s only have the one heat. They also leave my hair feeling really soft and smooth which my other ones didn’t really do and it doesn’t take as long to straighten with these ones. The only thing I could really say is that although the pouch is nice enough it does feel a bit cheaper and not as good a quality as my GHD one but still does the trick. Overall I’d definitely recommend them.

These arrived very promptly and were packaged well. Didn't know what to expect because I usually have ghd straighteners. What can I say except WOW! They beat my ghd's by a mile. They are sleek and have a great cable length which made life so much easier as my electric socket is situated a few feet from the mirror. They heated up quickly and are a dream to use. My hair is quite long and it straightened in no time at all. I also thought I'd test them out on my teenage daughters hair. Her hair is really thick and really long and is usually a nightmare to straighten. I was really surprised how easily and quickly they glided through her hair! They left her hair perfectly straight, very shiny and best of all no static! The only downside is that I now have to share them with her! Would definitely recommend.

Previously owned Babyliss straighteners and were very happy with them so decided to stick with the brand. Didn't want to spend a fortune, so these were perfect. Read other reviews which confirmed they would be suitable. Heat to 235, easy to handle, good long cable which is often too short in other brands, carry case/heat pad, nice colour, safety features good. I find them easy to use, not too big or heavy. The plates glide though my shoulder length hair and give a good finish. I don't curl my hair with straighteners so I am unable to comment o that aspect. Good straighteners, do the job! I would recommend.

It doesn't stay turned on anymore. Doesn't reach required heat level. After purchasing didn't started to use it straight away, only after few months when my current broke completely. So it's beed less than a year. The light after turning on is working but one next to it is blinking red and swiches off completely in few seconds. Disappointed that need to buy new again. Some other cheap brand was better, used it at least for several years.

La piastra è arrivata con la presa inglese (che non è menzionata da nessuna parte nella descrizione) e con difficoltà a chiudersi perchè le due piastre non si toccano, c'è sempre uno spazio di almeno 5,6 millimetri tra le due. Dopo aver parlato con un operatore del servizio clienti, quest'ultimo mi aveva proposto di inviarmene un'altra con la presa europea, ma anche la seconda è arrivata con la presa inglese e con il solito problema delle due piastre che non si chiudono. Sinceramente, sconsiglio caldamente l'acquisto. Scegliete un'altra piastra!
