Very beautiful design the cover is soft, the pages look rustic with their tone & raw edges writing on it is fun but I wouldn't say you could beat this book up like a note book and it's sturdy as far as whatever surface you're writing on this is a book designed to feel good and playful when you're writing in it not necessary to last like a 13th century bible. But having 200 pages is a huge reason why I bought it with it's ascetical value.

The book has a noticeable vinyl texture, one of the pages got torn more than I would've liked, and after the third time opening it the spine started to Crack.HOWEVER, I loved the smell of it fresh out of the package, the pages are delightfully weathered, the sun and moon on the cover are absolutely adorable with their spiral cheeks, and as I'm using this as a prop book I intend to use the damages to my benefit by coloring in the cracks with red ink so it looks like it's bleeding, and further roughing up the torn page so it looks like something important was intentionally destroyed.It's not a bad product, and for my purposes it's still perfect, but if you're hoping for something more durable, you may want to look elsewhwere.

It is absolutely gorgeous. I’m not big on handmade paper but I bought it for the beautiful cover. I love the size, too. It only has 180 pages but it was less than $20 so I guess it’s ok. The paper doesn’t feel as sturdy as another blank book I recently bought but it’s still beautiful.

This journal is made of genuine leather, complete with the warm scent that leather carries. The design on the cover is clear and detailed, and although it is made of leather and therefore soft, it seems resistant to scratches and marks. The journal is carefully and precisely bound and the excellent craftsmanship of the product is unmistakable and easily apparent. The pages are cream-colored and blank/unlined, soft, and thick, and are made of natural deckle-edged paper which is similar to parchment paper. The pages can be written on easily with pen and pencil, although trying to erase pencil marks can lead to more trouble than it’s worth, as it causes the page to lighten in color where you erase. There was little to no bleed-through of the pages even when using ink. The journal is held shut with an old-fashioned brass clasp. It is well-made and of high quality, and is an excellent value for money at such an inexpensive price. This journal would make a fantastic gift to those who like to write/journal as well as artists. It’s truly a gorgeous item and one of my new favorite journals.

I adore this Sun and Moon notebook by Haider Craft store!Beautifully manufactured and free of flaws on arrival this beautiful, antique looking notebook is perfect for me to keep my jewelry design drawings and plans in!The notebook gives the appearance of old leather and the cover of the sun, moon and planets is absolutely gorgeous! The paper is treated to appear like an old manuscript from the middle ages and the paper does not bleed through with the ink I use. It is so nice to have an artistic style notebook to keep my jewelry art designs in!I am truly so, so, happy with this item---thank you!

There’s nothing that I don’t love about this! It is the perfect size and I love the chunkiness of it. I love the deckle edge pages. The paper feels amazing, almost like a cloth/paper hybrid. I used my cheap fountain pen on it and there was no bleed through and no issues with skipping or ink flow. I love the latch on it, although there was a defect in the leather on my latch strap. It’s a great size to stick in your purse or your tote and it would make an amazing gift, especially if you paired it with a nice writing pen. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The thick aged cotton paper is inspiring, you just want to write in this journal with a quill and inkwell or a calligraphy pen. The journal cover is smooth with the sun and moon design printed on. The latch enclosure gives it a classic look, while the roughly cut aged paper gives it a medieval and magical look. It’s not practical for jotting down notes, it’s more of a decorative journal to either display or use creatively for artwork.
