Nice teapot but can lose heat quickly, best kept covered with a cosy.

I've been waiting since February for amazon to have this size teapot. It is the kind I always want, due to the shape of its spout and I don't want one bigger. Delighted to have bought 3!

Works well and made a nice cup of tea. Not great quality as very light weight and more like tin than metal.

After burning my hands many times on hot china handles (and breaking a few pots ) this is cool to lift and is virtually unbreakableIt pours without dripping. GREAT VALUE

The product arrived promptly. Unfortunately I found that the lid was very difficult to get off and on. The teapot itself is very light but appears to be rather flimsy. It might hold 6 cups but is no good for mugs of tea. Not what I wanted so had to return.

Pendeford Housewares 1 Litre/ 1.7 Pint 6 Cup Tea Pot - perfect size. I've used ceramic teapots from childhood until early this year when I tried a series of glass tea pots. Having broken or chipped my ceramic ones (mainly the lids on taps), and smashed both glass tea pots (yes BOTH) through cleaning accidents), I decided on something a bit more hardy.This silver teapot reminds me of visits to my aunt. Back when a tin kettle was the mainstay of any urban household. The Pendeford is average sized with a 1970s retro look. Deceptively lightweight. Imagine my surprise when using it and finding tea bags I've used forever (PG Tips) taste DIFFERENT in this tea pot. It's incredible. Just like they say wine tastes different in a mug or pint glass rather than in a formal wine glass, tea tastes different depending on the tea pot! Who knew? My tea tastes lovely, flavoursome like tea with tea leaves, OMG! I can't believe I've missed out all these years. I'm buying another on for work! I'd highly recommend this tea pot or at least urge any tea lovers to ditch the ceramics/glass and get one of these!!!

We saw this teapot which looked exactly like one we had years ago. We bought it and it is absolutely awful. The handle is too small and the lid does not stay on. It is extremely thin metal so tea goes cold very quickly.We used it twice and went back to our old teapot. We would like to return it but the inside is discoloured so I do not think we will get a refund. Really overpriced and poor value.

This teapot is exactly like the ones I remember from Ireland. It is not large, but is a good size if you want more than a single cup for yourself. The handle does not get hot. It is a simple, functional teapot and I am delighted with it.

This teapot only holds 4 - 8 ounce cups. It definitely is not a 6 cup tea pot.

Die Kanne ist optisch ein Hingucker, auch bleibt der Tee länger warm, nur Vorsicht, frisch aufgefüllt ist das Metallgehäuse auch an den Schraubstellen sehr heiß...
