I do wish that this was not even called an expansion. While the cards are very pretty, it is just holographic replacements of cards that are already in the game.

First off: Any expressions of buyer's remorse are my own fault. I REALLY enjoy the base game of Mini Rogue and when I saw this, I purchased without reading the description. That's on me.As received, this is exactly what the description says it is: The Treasure/Ghost card, and eight Boss cards (six from the base game and two from the Depths of Damnation expansion), but with holofoil artwork.The packaging is nice, the cards are somewhat thicker than what they are meant to replace, but good quality. The holofoil is also on the card backs, which makes them very easy to identify during setup.The three star rating is partly due to this upgrade pack not adding anything new to gameplay. The artwork is even identical to the originals, just holofoil. This is the real rub: The holofoil actually makes it harder to see the artwork. Yeah, it's neat, but it's constantly shifting between shiny and dark. I really like the art of this game, so the holofoil really seems like a step backward. Note: The publisher did a great job of maintaining legibility in the cards' ability sections, there's far less reflection at the bottom.So, if you're into buying everything for a game you love, you'll probably get this in any case. However, if you're on the fence, I don't feel you're missing anything by passing on this item.I will also be more diligent wrt reading item descriptions in the future. 😀
