Nerf Rebelle Agent Bow

My daughter loved this bow blaster. First time the string broke. When I contacted the suppliers they gave me details to return the bow and sent me a new one straight away. Fast service and no messing around with having to wait for the old one to be received. My daughter has now had two other types of these bows and loves them all.

So, as many reviewers have said, this is a great bow and arrow ... that actually works. It's fairly straightforward to put together and it's a lot of fun to use. It comes with three foam tipped arrows which fit neatly into a plastic container that snaps onto the side of the bow. It also has an LED sight which enables you to line up your target! We also bought a nerf target that could be attached to the back of a door. Shooting the arrows is easy and as you might expect, a child could do it. The reality in our house is that most of the gimmicks (the sight, even the target) were abandoned fairly quickly in favour of balancing Barbie dolls on a bookcase and shooting at them along our hallway (a distance of probably 20 metres, and I think it would shoot further). This is all great until the string breaks. We bought two and both perished around the same time - after about 6 months (this is clearly a product fault as the strings did not simply snap, but completely fell apart). Whilst you cannot replace the string, it is worth knowing that if you contact Hasbro Customer Service they will send you a replacement product. In our case, they asked me to return the battery case cover (as proof of purchase) and within a week I had a Nerf Rebelle crossbow. They are clearly aware that this is a fault and are keen to try and put it right.

I brought this for my niece who is a very smart 7-year-old. She spotted this and really wanted it so i was happy to oblige. SHe does enjoy playing with this with her brothers who have nerf guns. I fear however that she is at a bit of a disadvantage beause they have rapid fire guns and she has this bow and arrow! It's not very accurate.. sliding a arrow into the bow and releasing it gives very mixed results. It was practically impossible for her to hit any target she chose, despite how many times she practiced. She likes the secret message thing, It looks kinda cool, but its accuracy in finding a target you've aimed for is nigh on high impossible. I think i'll buy her a nerf gun instead, so she can play on a equal footing with her brothers..

I bought for my 7 year old daughter after she showed promise on an archery range. We felt nervous about a real bow; so chose this instead. I think it was the right move and am very happy with it. This is a great bow that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. It is easy to aim, sturdy, easy enough to assemble and it looks great. I’m not sure about the electronic sight since it doesn’t really improve accuracy and doesn’t project the light onto the target – you just see a light within the bow handle that indicates the general direction. Also, the bow comes with a red decoder clip that allows you to read secret messages on the arrows – this also seems a bit gimmicky and unnecessary. Not sure why NERF added those features since the bow is well worth purchasing without them. Hours of fun for most anyway.

Shocking product..... My daughter has hardly played with this, and she picked it up yesterday, to find the 'string' broke in her hand. It had perished. The bow was not in the sun, but on a cupboard in her room. We contacted has to to see if we could replace the string bit, but it is not possible, nor did they acknowledge this obvious product failure. Don't buy this..... Not even worth a star.

What can I say. This item is perfect. The boy and arrow function as described. It's well made and does exactly what it's supposed to. The darts are also great and well proportioned for little warriors. They also whistle when in flight. The hidden message and viewer which my little one quickly discarded as she was not interested in them. It would be nice to have gotten more darts instead of three.

The bow is excellent and my daughter loved it however after only 4 months of careful use the string has perished and snapped which is not good enough for a product of this price. I am currently looking into whether replacement strings can be purchased. If so and these are reasonably priced I will up this review to 4 stars.

My daughter bought this, and was absolutely chuffed with it. She really enjoyed running around the garden pretending to be Katniss from The Hunger Games! You might decide to buy more arrows, as they can easily get lost if you fire very long distance. The secret message system isn't the best, however with the bow itself it's not really needed. Definitely recommended for children and adults of all ages!

Ich schreibe diese Rezension, um anderen Kunden einen guten Lösungsweg aufzuzeigen und eine Lanze für den Kundendienst von Amazon zu brechen. Meine Tochter hatte auch viel Spaß mit dem Bogen, bis auch hier die Sehne nach gut einem Jahr (!) mürbe wurde und zerbröselte. Ein Anruf bei Amazon und mir wurde erklärt, dass das Problem bekannt sei. Da ein Austausch der Einzelteile nicht möglich war, bekam ich sofort einen neuen Bogen innerhalb 3er Werktage und ein Rücksendeetikett per Email für den immerhin schon ein Jahr alten Bogen. Somit waren alle wieder glücklich. Großes Lob für den Kundendienst. Dass bei vorhersehbarem Verschleiß seitens des Herstellers keine Ersatzsehne , so wie bei der Zwille, lieferbar ist, ist allerdings ein echter Minuspunkt.

Falta ver cuánto tarda en romperse pero, por ahora (10 días después de estrenarlo) me parece excelente. Funciona muy bien y es muy fácil de utilizar. El diseño es precioso y todos los componentes están muy bien pensados. La pieza para guardar las flechas también está muy bien diseñada: es muy práctica y fácil de usar, de manera que al niño/niña no le cuesta nada guardar las flechas y no están por ahí tiradas. Una ventaja añadida es que a pesar de que el diseño es para niñas, algunos niños también se la piden (como mi hijo y otros niños que conozco), con lo cual de paso pulimos algunos de los estereotipos de género que tanto cuestan de combatir. En cuanto al funcionamiento, hay que tener en cuenta que, tal como se indica en la caja, dispara bastante lejos!!! Por último, también se indica en la caja que las flechas silvan. Las flechas tienen unos agujeros en la punta diseñados para que silven por el efecto del aire al ser lanzadas. Bueno, este efecto, en mi opinion, no se da o, en todo caso, es prácticamente imperceptible. Aún así le doy cinco estrellas porque pienso que este detalle tiene una importancia mínima.

Ma fille possédait l'ancien modèle avec la corde en plastique qui très vite, sans l'utiliser s'est complètement disloquée. Ce modèle là à la corde en élastique, qui sera j'espère plus résistante dans le temps. Les flèches sont envoyées à une grande distance, attention cependant à ne pas viser son adversaire de trop près, ça peut être douloureux ! A utiliser à partir de 8ans selon moi.
