Great starting point
My first unicycle. For the money I paid I did not expect much, as I own several high end bicycles. It is very solid and heavy. Probably a good thing to learn on. Not sure that the nice chrome finish to will weather the Scottish climate however. Simple to set up, with quick release seat pin. The peddles are plastic and rounded, which is great as my shins have not suffered much. Metal pedals would have cut me to the bone! Without any other unicycle to compare it against, it cannot give it a relative score. However, it got me to where I wanted to. I can now mount and ride it quite well.I could be tempted to spend more and get a MTB variant with alloy parts and fat tyres. Only then will I be able to really gauge how good it is. I am 183cm and weigh 83Kg and it has put up with all the rough treatment I have thrown at it. The saddle is protected with plastic bumpers which as saved the vinyl. I did manage to shred the tyre when it bounced off a wall.I replaced it with a 24" white wall Michelin and it is more durable as well as looking very *showbiz*.So tyre quality is the only potential weakness. For the money you can't go wrong (unless you fall off it!) Here is me after 3 weeks, trying to master kerb mounting... [...]
