Works well

Not as adjustable as a telescoping set up, but very strong. I had to trim one section down with a band saw for the precise height of my boat cover, but these poles survived my boat lift canopy falling on them in a big storm this summer with out bending, warping, or breaking.

Easy to use , very strong, fit my boat just fine. good quality material a must have for boats that are parked outside in the elements.

These aren't the best if you are using them with just the string to keep them upright. The nylon string is slippery and does not tie well. Also if you don't have a lot of anchor points to tie the string to they are pretty useless, and kept falling over. I ended up just using the top section of the pole and the base, and I put an extended 2'x8' (15ft) down the center of my boat and then screwed the bases for the poles to the wood. I used 4 of them equally spaced the length of the wood, and it is working out great! I now have a nice taught cover on my Duck Boat to keep all the leaves out and keep it dry! They work great now that they are hard mounted to the wood, and it is easily removed by lifting out the wood after removing the cover!

These poles work perfect to raise my boat cover at each end to help drain rain water off my boat cover. The top and bottom covers came off easy, so I put a screw in them to solve the problem, stay in place now.

We had a heavy snow and the top rounded plastic piece broke off of them which made the pole poke a hole through the boat cover

Works well

It is mostly made of métal. Once intall: it will not fold up due to wind blast. I had one made of plastic pôles without the nylon rope and it had to be set up again after wind blast. I would buy it all over again.

The poles are good n sturdy, top cap seems to made well as the base a bit cheap, complaint is the snap that holds each pole together real cheap n dont line up or fall out of the pole, but are ok for the buck, alot better than my plastic ones I used
