Delighted with this camera after deliberating for awhile on which brand to get. Many of the reviews for other cameras talk of poor resolution particularly at night. However this one works well and the options on two banks of black LEDs and different sensitivities gives plenty of choice. The quality of day (in colour ) and night (B&W) pictures are good The on board LCD screen is good and very useful for quick review.Camouflage is good although long securing strap is grey and much more visible, so needs to be folded away .Have not found any issues. One improvement would be an external switch for the monitoring so you don't get lots of shots of your face and arm whilst you put the units together and fasten to treeInstructions were good and in several languages so no issues with some reported instances of only German language. Also some quick start cards to get going in2 minutes

I've bought it two months ago:PROS: it has stood a lot of rain which is really good. I've caught a lot of animals on camera. The device colors are great for disguising it on trees. Night vision is not perfect but for the price/ camera I enjoy it a lot and will use it on touch-screens in a traveling exhibition I'm working on (the main reason for buying the camera). I've asked for help setting the camera and got a fast answer from the manufacturer. Batteries seem to last long and I'm only using the camera for videos.CONS: Image during the day is noisy to be usable in a documentary (but hey it's an inexpensive camera) - If you just want to do home projects I guess you'll like it.Just not 5 because of the daily noise.

I had been wanting a wildlife camera for my garden for ages and this is the second one I bought in a few days. The first one was from another maker and about half the price. It was truly awful quality and I returned it. Then I bought the Secacam Raptor. What a difference! This camera is superbly made with clear, well written instructions. It delivers great images and is a joy to use. Worth every penny. As the old saying goes - you get what you pay for.

The media could not be loaded. I used this camera to capture wildlife and am very impressed with the quality and reliability. I enjoyed the pre recorded welcome from the Company too. A nice touch. I like the fact that you can leave the base attached and remove the front section to review the images. It is very sensitive and can pick up a mouse easily from quite a distance. I would not hesitate to purchase another one and fully intend to when I have funds to spare.

Probably like a great many other people I carry out a great deal of research before making expensive purchases. After quite some time I eventually decided on the SecaCAM RAPTOR trail camera, and what a good choice. Arrival was quick and the item well packaged You can use this straight out of the box, SD card and batteries included. Some excellent videos on youTube but also very good instructions included.So far I have used the camera in the garden, not much happening this time of the year, imaging is very good, and the camera is very sensitive so looking forward to trying it out further afield in future.

This is the most expensive of the units that I have tested and although the quality of the videos and photos was good, the unit possesses shortcomings so that I returned it. Here are the shortcomings: You have to split the unit into 2 to do any settings. Like most of the cameras you have no active viewfinder so can't set it up in situ with any accuracy. You even have to open it to switch it on and off. Why not a remote so that you can set it up in situ and then use a remote to switch on and off? All the other units I tested were the same, but they cost 1/3 as much! I also couldn't get it to work with the 32GB SD card supplied.

This is the second of these cameras we've bought as we were so impressed with the first. Simplicity itself to position, especially on a tree, and the camouflage is great. We purchased the cameras particularly for watching the barn owls and badgers nearby - we knew they were around but of course didn't see them in daylight hours. The cameras have picked up some good wildlife - even more of it around than we thought - and they have also proved useful for showing the odd human trespasser, thanks to the good camouflage! They're simplicity itself to install, and the picture quality is very good. We might even buy more in the future.

I was very pleased with the quality of the night-time video performance of this camera. Unfortunately,after about half-a-dozen sessions it just stopped working. It has been returned to seller.
