Get the consistency right and this product is superb. In fact I was able to use quite a fluid mix for pouring into moulds and the strength of the object was not compromised. You have to work fast however as it goes off really quickly and starts to solidify fast. You can take out of the moulds in as little as 20 minutes but I found 30 minutes was a better bet. Make sure you measure the water and the product to get a consistent batch.

Plaster was easy to mix, no lumps, flowed into mould well, went off quickly and easy to carve when hard, Taking time to fully dry out.

Works well, easy to use, but when transferring the powder out of the bag into a box I found a razor blade inside the middle of the powder! Anyone using their hands to get the powder out the bag, which I was doing, could have sliced themselves! Luckily I found it!

Really it's what you would expect it to be

I use plaster of paris a lot and decided to buy a bulk bag rather than lugging heavy amounts home from Hobby Craft. This arrived next day via prime and despite a minor tear in the plastic bag, arrived dry and ready to use. The plaster is very fine and mixes easily with water to create a good texture with no lumps or clumping. However I have to point out that is smells absolutely vile like sulphur both dry and then very noticeably when wet which is strange and off putting. It sets up well within 20 mins and dries to a cream colour. I will use the entire batch but I would not purchase this item again.

What it says it is

The price is good, but if I follow the directions, I find this solidifies way too quickly! I found it difficult to use as it seemed to start to solidify almost immediately, and I had to rush pouring it into the moulds. It worked and the quality of the hardened casts was great, but I could do with more time to get it in the moulds.
