I loved the size of the book, it is just perfect, worthy of your coffee table, the paper is as it should be for Peter Lindbergh, grainy and expressive.if you like to gain a bit of insight on what truly matters, which is not technical genius but rather ingenuity, boldness, character, as well as learn on making simple surroundings work for your portrayed characters, that is a book for you.

For those interested in portrait or fashion photograph this book is a must containing some iconic images from the late and great Peter Lindbergh. You can spend hours leafing through this hefty coffee table book and see how Lindbergh visions and ideas change the way fashion is portrayed in photograpy.

An outstanding tombe of inspirational work printed to a high quality. For anyone with an interest in fashion photography or even photography in general this is a book worth owning. It is very large and heavy and not one to put in your bag to read on the train.

A wonderful book full of inspirational images.Although the title points to fashion photography, over half of the photos could be considered portraits, the ones of Richard Gere, Melanie Thierry, Lara Stone and Kate Moss are a stand out for me.

I must admit that my initial reaction on first read-through of this enormous book was it was too big -- that is, there were too many similar photos in it. But after a second and third read and time spent really studying the work contained inside, I realized that Lindbergh's style is subtle and really, really good. This is a very thorough volume covering a lot of ground and I am hugely enjoying all of it. Wonderful photographer; gorgeous images.
