Very good product spoiled a little by vague and sparse documentation.
Seems well made. Instructions are bit sparse and it wasn't easy at first to get it working as I wanted. However the key to success isn't that difficult.I'm using it to connect a printer with an Ethernet connection via WiFi so I needed it to function as an Access Point. That means the setup was slightly more complex than just using it as a Repeater, which is its default mode. The gotcha is that when you first configure it by connecting to it via its default WiFI "COMFAST_xxxxxx" wireless network, browsing to it on 192.168.10.1 and logging in using the password "admin", you can very easily set it up to connect to your existing WiFI and operate ONLY AS A REPEATER! However once you've done that and it reboots, if you then want it to operate in a different mode, e.g. as an Access Point as I did, browse again to 192.168.10.1 and you are presented with a completely different set of options, and for example select Access Point mode. I did that, it rebooted, I plugged into the hardwired Ethernet port on my printer and it worked perfectly as I wanted.I'd have given this 5 *'s if the documentation had included that information and not left me to work that out for myself. Good product, at a great price, which I'm pretty sure will meet most needs. Just needs better documentation.

Works great, poor instructions
Well it arrived today. I read the instructions written so tiny the old magnifying glass of my moms had to come out, ( I'm 42 and I've got good eye sight by the way). The instructions are frustrating to put it politely. I used the take mobile method. Which didn't follow the introductions the pamphlet showed in the not so helpful diagram. It does work and my reception upstairs is great so all happy. Just as fast as down stairs. Shame the instructions are poor.

Great WiFi extender
I did quite a bit of research before buying this WiFi extender mainly to see what would work best for me. I settled on this MECO type due to its price and the reviews it had a lot of money off and was ideal for my property. It’s easy to set up and sync and it has sorted out the weak signal area out easily. I would recommend this gadget it works a treat for a good price.

I am very disappointed and would not recommend this product to anyone
The product arrived on time, The item appears to be well made, however I could not get the product to work. I followed all the instructions several times yet it still did not work. I ended up purchasing another brand which was very straight forward to install. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this product to anyone.

Avoid it.
This is the worst hardware I have ever bought. I followed its instructions (written in a very improbable English) but could not manage to make the repeater talk to my router. Impossible to configure, software is terrible, the UI of the internal app is ridiculously bad. I am really regretting buying this stuff. Please avoid, choose something else.

Limited use
Makes two different networks so if your looking to just get Wi-fi access extended ( albeit it also reduces bandwidth while doing so ) it will be okay , but if you want to use say sonos with everything on the same sssid it won’t work well.

Crazy set up, but after that it will work just fine! I recommend, but only for experts
Just going to echo what I'd already seen, the set up isn't easy, I actually gave up trying to set it up manually and went for the WPS option, but once you've done that, it works really fast and it looks reliable!

Maybe I just got a bad batch.
it didn't work for me. I read and re-read the instructions and went through the set up process exactly to the letter. Got the thing to switch on but never connected. may work for others but not me. Maybe I just got a bad batch.
