Hinges a little weak, but otherwise good.
DMC thread boxes are my go-to for thread storage, however they aren't the most sturdy. This is the third I've had to replace due to the hinges going from over use.But considering the price, and that they last at least a few years, its an OK issue.

Perfect storage solution for my floss bobbins
This DMC storage box is perfect for storing my embroidery floss in. It is roughly the size of an A4 piece of paper- a little smaller in fact, and can easily store 90 full floss bobbins. The sections are a fixed size and cannot be altered- this makes the box stronger in my opinion and makes it easier to squeeze in the fatter bobbins without trapping your whole row causing a mess later. There is one section which is double the length of the others- this is perfect for thread scissors and other handy tools that are needed on the go. It has a handy clip closure so that the box can be stored on its side safely if pushed for space. It is also compatible with the floss bobbin winders as they can easily clip onto the side.

Great box, but not 50 bobbins
Everything is perfect except it doesn’t come with 50 bobbins hence the lower rating. I think there were about 20 in there, only enough to fill 1/3 of the box. I contacted them and was told the manufacturers had changed the amount. A bit annoying as I have now had to spend more money buying the right amount of bobbins as stated on the product description

Praktische Garnbox
für Sticktwiste auf Garnkärtchen. Die beigefügten Pappkärtchen sind allerdings sehr dünn. Man kann sie auch doppelt verwenden, es haften eh immer 2 zusammen. Ich selbst bevorzuge Garnkärtchen aus Plastik, die behalten deutlich besser die Form und sind mehrfach verwendbar, diese Pappkärtchen sind doch schnell verbogen oder verknickt.Die Box lässt sich gut öffnen und schließen, durch die festen Zwischenwände haben die Garnkärtchen guten Halt und purzeln nicht durcheinander. Eins der Fächer ist größer, da kann man Schere, Einfädler oder sowas hineintun. Beigefügt ist eine Liste mit DMC Sticktwist Nummern, da könnte man eintragen, welche Garne in der Box enthalten sind, weiß nicht, ob ich das nutze, da ich selbst Sticktwist verschiedener Hersteller nutze.
