PlatinumCarbon Ink Cartridges - Black

I love this ink. I have it in a bottle too but I didn't want to buy another convertor for a pen I don't use much so grabbed these.Nice big cartridges, very nice quality and none of the mess of bottled ink.The ink writes silky smooth and is permanent and waterproof. I even used it on the cover of a leather effect sketchbook, I expected to be disappointed and it to smudge at least a little but on the semi-porous plastic it was spot on once it dried it was immovable.The only downside I can think of is that if your pen leaks in your pocket then your clothes will be ruined because this fantastic stuff isn't coming out any time soon.

This is the nearest you will get to true Indian ink in a fountain pen. Having said that, I'd be cautious about using it in anything other than a cleanable pen designed to use it, in case of a drying out disaster. I use it in a fine Platinum Carbon desk pen and the result is as good as any line produced by a technical pen, in a pen that's much nicer to draw with. It is also pretty good in a brush pen. The ink is waterproof so can be used in line and wash work.

I purchased this for my new fountain pen.Which will be used for drawing and sketching.Haven't used it yet, but look forward to doing so, now the weather has improved. It's supposed to be water resistant....I'll find out at a later date.

I've been using those cartridges for ages, and can't fault it. The ink is great, flows smoothly, cartridges doesn't dry out before you finish (as its common with other brands), and doesn't bleed even on poorer quality paper.

As I expected, good BLACK ink cartridges. What more can I say ?

this is a great price for these cartridges its got to be equivalent to around half a bottle of ink i think .. so u kind of getting your moneys worth .. and these are the proper ones what come with the metal ball.. ive never had an issue but some fakes out there carbon ink .. its not moving once dried completely ..great product good price

Easy to use

Arrived on time, well packaged and fit my pen perfectly. Can't ask for more. Nice flow through pen and evenly distributed on paper.
