I felt disheartened to see so many negative reviews on here so just wanted to share my own testimonial to the endurance of this blankie and share why I find it to be beneficial.I’ve had this blanket since 2021 and even with many a washes, it still remains perfectly intact, super cozy, and most importantly, incredibly soft!I would also consider it to be appropriate for all seasons and especially if you keep your home on the cooler side! Regarding texture, even after the numerous washes the fabric has remained silky smooth on the fleece side and soft and plush on the Sherpa side. It feels like a warm embrace against bare skin.The colors are so strikingly beautiful with deep jewel tones, pastels, or muted neutrals to choose from. There are many options available to make any type of statement you’d like, or none at all! In addition to my red one, I’m feeling strongly compelled to purchase that magnificent deep plum.As an aside, I’ve yet to have a problem with colors bleeding. As a reminder, the manufacturer does recommend washing with cold water and tumbling on low. That is what I’ve adhered to and have been successful doing.Lastly, and the most cutest of things that compels me to recommend this, is that my youngest kitty (2.5 yrs) is super drawn to this fabric. For instance, when I had had my comforter in use, he would lay on me still, but that was all. With this blanket, he started kneading again and does it every single time he climbs onto it! It really is persuasive enough to keep this blanket out long term. It just puddles my heart thus I wholeheartedly recommend it. 🥰😻☺️

Christmas was close and I still had nothing really surprising for my wonderful husband. They never need anything! If they want something they buy it for themselves!One day our daughter mentioned in passing that everyone in her household loves 🩷when the nights get cold because they all have a Sherpa blanket on their beds!I had no idea what a Sherpa Blanket was. My daughter showed me hers. It was an incredibly soft and fluffy and lightweight white blanket. the quality felt good and she told me it washed well, too.I decided to buy a queen sized Sherpa blanket for a present for my husband for Christmas. We have a King sized bed and I do not want anything to make me sleep warm at night. I decided that I could take the queen sized and fold it over and make my husband’s side of the bed warmer. He is always cold in our bedroom in the winter!He opened his presents 🎁 and seemed to like the Sherpa blanket. I am sure he thought it was an odd gift!That night I put it on his side of the bed and was hopeful that he would be warm and happy! Next morning he raved about the blanket! Loved 🥰 it and thought it was incredibly warm. A few weeks later he decided he wanted to sleep directly under the Sherpa and on top of the top sheet!Honestly, this little blanket has changed his sleeping 😴 completely. He says it is the BEST gift I have ever found for him and one he would have never thought he needed!I would highly recommend this blanket for people who are chilly at night and who would enjoy a warm and cozy sleep!Very reasonably priced for a good blanket. It doesn’t shed!

This blanket is super lightweight yet warm and cozy—the perfect combo. One side is velvety soft, and the sherpa side is fluffy and just as soft. Best part? It washes beautifully.I tossed it straight into the washer and dryer as soon as it arrived, and it came out just as soft and fluffy as it was out of the box. I’ve had similar blankets where the sherpa turns hard and matted after one wash—not this one. After washing, it still looks and feels like new. No shedding or lint.If you want a lightweight, soft, cozy blanket that actually holds up, this one is a winner.

*Update 2:Three years later and I own two of these fleecy versions and four of the regular. My friend mentioned in this review gifted them to six people in her family for that same Christmas. They all loved it. All of them have held their color perfectly and are as soft as always, even after three years of washing. AND - as if by a miracle of Christmas Magic - they added CHRISTMAS-Y/WINTRY PATTERNS. I have a snowflake printed, red fleece-lined one that I swear, I must've stolen from Santa's very own bed (good thing the elves can make him more, huh?).You really should buy this blanket. Or buy six. Your call. But I vote for six.**Almost a year later, and I am a blanket evangelist. I stand by everything I've said in this original review. And how could she say no to that? So he was delighted when the next day his own blanket arrived in his very favorite color. Although he did make a point of telling me he likes green, too. So a green one would be okay.You will feel like you're sleeping in Santa's bed with this thing. It belongs in the North Pole. It makes me believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas, because really there is no other possible explanation for anything so cozy and soft and perfect. I want a red one. And a purple one.Did I mention that all of this has transpired in under a month? And I've got two more friends who want one.SEE? It should come with a warning label that says: Caution... everyone you know will want this blanket.Buy this blanket. You know you want to. You know you want to feel enveloped in its cozy embrace. Trust me. Pick a color and buy it. Buy three. You'll need at least three. Especially if there are other people or pets in your house likely to steal yours.But whatever you do, stop looking for the perfect blanket. Because here it is. Right here. A great blanket. With this and a quilted coverlet we stay plenty warm without getting overheated.

I bought two of these when they were on sale for $18.00. I wish I had purchased a couple more now that their price has substantially increased.This blanket is impossibly soft on the colored side. The Sherpa lining is irresistibly inviting. Unlike most other inexpensive blankets, this one is quality made. The seams are straight, the Sherpa is of excellent quality and does not shed. The colored side also does not shed. Given that my cats shed, having a blanket that does not shed is a treat!I live in deep snow and ice country, but keep a cool house. Electricity is expensive, my main heat source is propane. Given I live way up on a mountain, propane delivery is very limited. The temperature outside may be below zero, but my house is still kept at 58-65 degrees. With this blanket to snuggle into, I do not notice the chill. In fact, at times, I tend to push the blanket down off my shoulders to my waist because this blanket provides such warmth, even in a cool house, this blanket keeps me warm even with minimal coverage. I am a full-time RV'er and when the temp dips down to minus 24, 'Snuggy' (besides my cats) is my best winter friend. I bought two about a week apart because my cats discovered how warm and friendly this blanket is, so the second blanket was for me! I don't worry about their fur because this blanket washes and dries as beautiful as it looks.As far as durability, my cats 'make biscuits' on this blanket frequently without harming either side. Of course, I keep their claws clipped rather short, so for those cats who have longer claws, what damage they may do I do not know, but 'their' blanket has not suffered damage.If these blankets ever go on sale again, I will definitely purchase another two, or three!If you keep a cool house, or get easily chilled, this blanket will become your best wintertime friend!

These blankets are absolutely amazing!! So comfortable. They are such a high quality. Everybody that comes over to our house and uses it, comments on how great they are. I started buying them as presents for everyone who falls in love with mine! The color is very true to image for the different colors I have bought. I'm prone to sweating and this blanket is warm, perfect thickness, but yet still doesn't cause me to sweat even when sleeping under it! The material is so nice on both sides, incredibly soft and they are made very well. The material does not shed and it washes great! The different sizes have all been great. None of them have been too short in the feet, they are true to size for each type. My favorite colors are the lilac and the royal purple colors. Highly recommend for home or as a wonderful gift!! You will not be disappointed! It also came packaged very nicely for a gift.

This blanket is amazing I been using it well over a year and I love its so comfortable and definitely keeps me warm and cold nights and puts me to sleep pretty quick sometimes. Definitely recommend this product for anyone who sleeps alone
