Greatest PS2 game ever
My husband is always playing rpg and adventure games on the pc, so I thought it was about time I bought one for my PS2. I could not have made a better choice. Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance is superb, great graphics, great characters in fact the whole game is brill. You get to do main quests and side quests, picking up experiance points, money, weapons and loads of other stuff. Some of these things may be good for your character, if not you can sell them to buy better stuff. The quests are great fun, and there is a good selection of places to go and monsters to kill. One point I would add is a bow is a pretty essential item to have no matter what character you play as some monsters are easier to kill from a distance. There are save places scattered all around and I would recomend you use them. If you can not carry any more items use a recall potion, sell you stuff, then recall back. Im looking forward to part two, which i've heard will be out in q4 of this year. Happy gaming. And buy this game, you will not be disaponted.

Disk ruined
Disc doesn't work. It has hair spray marks or something like that, all the way round the disc. Not impressed at all.

Fantastic game. May be an aquired taste but I've always loved playing this with a friend. Product arrived on time, good condition. Game works perfectly. Disc slightly marked. Manual was mint. Plastic around case was a little faded, but nothing to write home about. Insert was mint.

Good when it works
I don't know if its a fault on the disk or a bug in the game but it crashes/freezes whenever my character goes into a cave. However the game was delivered on time

Brilliant game. Packaging not good
What a brilliant game. Just as good as I remember it being. Great story good graphics (for its time) brilliant local coop. Only marked down as bought pre owned from a smoker and it stinks had to leave the game and case outside to air and still it stinks the room out. More care needs to be given to try there best to make it as clean as possible.

It uses the amazing hardware available with the PlayStation 2 to bring the Dungeons & Dragons rule system to life in a game of action and intrigue. Set in the Forgotten Realms, the most popular of all D&D worlds, BG Dark Alliance blends action, adventure, and compelling story with incredible graphics and gameplay into a wild medieval foray.
But Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is an action game as well a role-playing game. That means that as you advance through the game, you not only navigate past opponents, but also through an intriguing story. With each victory you gain power - hopefully enough power to overcome the next obstacle. You also get the opportunity to guide your character's fate by determining what skills and powers they will gain each time they reach a new level of achievment.
