Poor connection for the poles to the stand and broke on the first time of playing the game you need glue to hold the post up

This little set is just right for my young sons’ throwing practice. They come with the rope hoops as shown, but also a set of red and a set of blue plastic hoops of similar size, 15 hoops altogether. The carry case is ideal for storage and it’s helping my boys practice putting their game away after use (I do so like products that come with their storage). The base and targets are all wooden and fit cleverly together by screwing the upright targets in place, the centre target screws both base pieces together. Nicely designed, without being expensive. Delivered on time. Only loses a star for a little roughness in the screwing. Not every upright screws all the way down. However, my young boys, 3 & 5 manage to put it together without help.

Having decided that we wanted to buy a quoits set I spent sometime reading reviews of the various ones available on Amazon and elsewhere. I had a budget in mind which rules out any hand turned solid hardwood sets that were coming in at over £50. One thing that stood out to me from the reviews I read was that some sets are designed in a way that the upright posts just push onto the holes on the cross frame with nothing to support them. Several reviewers wrote about the frustration of constantly knocking these posts over when they were hit by one of the rings. This was the main reason I bought this set. All five posts screw in to the holes so they can't be knocked over. The cross frame slots together nicely too and the whole set comes in a smart green bag with a zip and carry handles making it easy to transport to the beach or the park. The set seems to be well made and I can't see any reason why it shouldn't last us for a long time.

Looks easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. Sadly stitching on the bag by the zip has come away, so will have to rest itch before the end of the bag comes away, this obviously does not effect the item. Also I cannot contact the supplier to let them know, hence a 3*

I've bought a few of these sets over the last few years. I bought this one as a gift and it just so happens that this is the best one out of the lot. Super sturdy, good height and the plastic rings are fantastic. We played on a windy pier in the South of France (as I said, it was a gift) and had a lot of fun, so much so that I wanted to buy another set but they seem to be sold out! Just my luck! :-(

This game is great for children of all ages. I am a mother and childminder and have children from ages 1 to 12 coming to my house for a play. This is a game that engages all ages at the same time. We also thoroughly enjoy playing it as a family and with its carry case it makes it very easy for us to take it away when we go camping.I looked at many versions of these games from a variety of different sellers and this one looked to be the safest version. It has rounded off spokes and clear coloured tops for additional visibility.Setting up the game and breaking it down to pack away is easy. Even my 3/4 year olds can do it and they love screwing the parts in together.The fact the game comes with both plastic and rope rings is also fantastic to allow accessibility for all.
