I’ve been looking for a quality, faux cow hide rug for some time now, and had ordered two others, both far more expensive than this one from well-known retailers.Both of them were very poor quality on arrival. Really fake and slipped badly on our wooden floors. I’d almost given up when I saw this one - which looked to be the ideal size and colours for our hall. With the safety of Amazon’s return policy, I decided to give it a go.It arrived in less than 24 hours, and felt like a different quality as soon as I touched it, and it is.It lies perfectly flat, the colours are just as the website shows and it’s just the right weight to avoid it moving underfoot, and better still, no animals were harmed in the process!I’m absolutely thrilled with my purchase. It’s gorgeous. I’ve had my eye on a rug like this for ever and this one is perfect.

If you want cowhide this is one of the best you’re going to get- for what I would say is a fairly reasonable price. I personally haven’t been able to find a nice, decent sized rug that doesn’t cost nearly a month’s rent! And I’ve been looking for months!!! So I’m so glad I found this!I have to say I really like the rug and I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality and thickness. Obviously cowhide is naturally a thinner rug; so if you want a big fluffy rug this isn’t what you would opt for. But I think it’s a fair thickness for a cowhide rug. I was definitely expecting it to be a little thinner and not so well made honestly but I’m happy with it. It feels lovely and soft and looks pretty…beautiful chocolate brown tones with the cream look nice.I was on the fence about buying it for a while and in the end I thought why not just try- worst case I don’t like it, I’ll just return it but I’m really glad I made the purchase and I definitely won’t be returning. And the best part of it all- it’s machine washable!!!🙌🏾Have to say- the cushion covers that are recommended with the rug are trash though…it’s a very low quality cowhide printed fabric 🤨definitely returning those 😂

I was expecting a massive rollers up rug, but this came in a briefcase size zip up bag… I was worried perhaps it would be thin, to small and cheap looking…. BOY WAS I WRONG!This rig opened beautifully, no creases after a few hours, and the softness made me want to roll around on it for hours!The design doesn’t look like a cheap print like most knock offs, this is the real deal and I can’t believe such a high quality rug is this price!It’s such a bargain, it looks and feels like it should be over £500…Defo get the massive size…. It’s SUCH A SHOW STOPPER!Will be with me for years this rug…. It’s gorgeous and I simply need to recommend this to EVERYONE!

I was looking for a long time for a rug that was machine washable and also didn't cost a kidney lol I have a little chihuahua who has special needs and has accidents she has had a very hard time the first 17weeks of her life then I took her in and havnt been able to have a rug in the house since but in return I have the most amazing little baby pup she's nearly 2 but she's so tiny and cute so it's OK but I found this rug and thought it looked cool it was the right colour to match my aesthetic and machine washable so thought I'd try it......at first I was like ooohhh its so soft and not crumpled you don't need to sit weights on all the corners to flatten it out and it's non slip on wooden floors......then I had to wash it I was nervous I'd be like OK so you'll probably disintegrate in the washing machine but we shall hope hahaha I put it on a delicate or hand-wash cycle with my normal laundry liquid and then I hang to dry draped over a clothes horse overnight with the underside up (I dunno if that makes a difference but I feel like it does lol) if you get some sun then it dries outside fast.....I was worried also about staining as its white but its perfect condition and its had all sorts of body fluids from both of my babies (chihuahuas lol) cos they both have conditions that mean they are sick and pee randomly it makes it even less of a big deal to just pop the rug in the machine......I also faced a weeks worth of targetted attacks from some demented kids throwing eggs at my house but they came in the patio doors all over the rug an even that was easy cleaned so it's been definitely put through the mill I'm washing it a few times a week (don't worry the evil kids have stopped so were all OK lol) it's not a super thick rug which is good as it's not a trip hazard and its bigger than I imagined it too......and it makes for the best wrestling ring cos its so soft the pups spin about wrestling on the rug when they are feeling mischievous and full of energy so do with that what you will hahahahaI would 100% encourage you to buy this rug I send everyone I know links to the rug cos I feel like everyone I know should own one they are soooooo worth the money and are everything they claim to be and more so if your on the fence just get it an touch it I swear you'll love it but if you don't then blame me......you won't need to blame me though cos I guarantee you'll love it!! Get it!!

Edges could look more authentic but looks good

Lovely print and good quality. It's really soft and well stitched around the edges. I was looking for a real one for the wall of my garden snug when I stumbled across this one. Great value and looks great. A plus is that when taken out the packet there were no folds or creases to iron out.

The media could not be loaded.  The rug is so soft, my dogs love to lay on it. It looks very realistic. It came with creases, which obviously they had to fold it to ship, but they faded away after we laid it down. It seems very well made, no complaints at all. It’s a good size, my living room is 30’by 30’ and it’s perfect for this room! I haven’t had any shedding and I have even vacuumed it. It’s about same thickness as any other fake hide. But it’s a completely different material/feel. It’s not stiff and it’s soft like I said.
