Brilliant piece of kit!
Sturdy, waterproof (Shetland!) Proof, clear, well designed, crisp, easy to use. Ordered lens covers from Opticron to enhance it all... Shame Nikon were not prepared to protect the polished glass with better quality covers. For the price, 10x50 Prostaff offers quality binoculars with flair. Have also added a decent neck strap for additional comfort when in the field.PS: the night vision 5 ⭐ is a bit cheeky, living at 60N (with very light nights!) yet they fare well in low/poor luminosity.Quality watching for a fraction of a price!

Super value for money
Very happy with this - even after using a Nikon (which I consider only one-down from Swarovski). Robust. Optics excellent but eyepiece adjustment not so smooth. Cheap but effective neck band and pouch - which may be considered immaterial.

Great binoculars
Great binoculars. 1 minor problem. The lens caps will have to be carefully watched because unattached as they are they are asking to get misplaced. In my other binoculars they clip to the carrying strap.Saying that the binoculars are all that I wanted and needed and am so glad I eventually went for the 8x magnification rather than the 10x.

Bright crisp image, light weight, waterproof and affordable binoculars
I am a "casual" bird watcher and I've wanted to upgrade my bins for a while. These Nikon Prostaff binoculars are a great way of obtaining high quality imaging, with bright vision and good magnification within a reasonable budget. While being much bigger tan ones I have used in the past, they are still relatively light and easy to hold (which cant be said for some other makes I have tried). Waterproof, apparently durable and not fussy to use, I can strongly recommend these to anyone not wanting to show off with a "twitchers" brand.

Excellent! Love them!
I love the clarity of these and the quick focus; they are very easy to use and hold. I use my bins daily so they really need to be good all rounders and these are now the favourite of all four pairs owned. Just took these to the Dales and they were superb. Great for bird / nature watching. The image is brilliantly clear, would very much recommend and such a bargain price. I deliberated buying as was tempted to their superiors but struggle to see the difference when these more than adequately cover all that is required. Love them! The only downside, as previously mentioned, is the lens covers. All four are loose and these do prove rather trying to keep putting back on. Can't quite figure why Nikon make such a good quality pair of bins and then supply such losable covers! Will tolerate this however as they are a great item and I really enjoy using them. Next day delivery too - simply superb service Amazon.

Eye cups faulty
Nice Bino's, but the eyecups keep coming off, i had to put a small dab of glue on to hold them.

Excellent from all points of view
Many thanks for the reviews on this product as when it arrived, like anything designed in Japan was perfect and as I expected it. (The saddest thing in my life is that they no longer make computers, I am using my 10 year old Toshiba and works like the first day and so easy to get on with). By family tradition I feed the birds in the morning, so now I can see them so clear in the trees far away where they are (Magpies, Black Crows, Swallows and our common enemies the pigeons)
