Sharp edges!
very good steamer, I use it for everything, including straining. Put it in the dishwasher loads of times and no rusting. Only issue is that the edges of the metal are quite sharp so care is neaded when hand washing

Good product
Easy to use, in a small pan on it's own, or over a pan with other contents. I always take it away with me.

You get what you pay for
Low price results in a trimmed down item, quality not offering a robust product.

They're excellent to use
Hi. I've given a review on this product before. It's excellent to use a shame the legs are a poor idea It would have been better with three single riveted legs. Otherwise good

So far so good vegetable steamer
We never had a steamer before. So whenever we boil any vegetables we wash and put them in to a pan on the gas to boil but of course that causes loss of nutrients from the vegies.1x Vegetable Steamer 4x stands/fittingsSteaming vegetables have never been that easy since I bought the vegetable steamer. Pour a little bit of water into the pan and put the steamer in along with the veggies you want to steam, cover the lid and off you go. The veggies get steamed without being soaked into the water and remains as is. As you can see from the image the broccoli steamed well without losing any of its nutrients down the drain. Before, when we boiled in the water the weight of the broccoli would be a bit heavier but now they are lighter and preferred blanched. Same tried with long green beans and they were perfect to our liking. Once all ready for the day keep it covered to stay fresh. So far we have made – beetroot, green beans, broccoli, sweetcorn. I am sure there is no limit to what it can be used it for – dumplings is what we want to try next.NOTE: I realised that the product isn’t very smooth to touch slightly sharp and rough on the edges and the thickness isn’t that great either. Also when you wash the steamer make sure you wipe it to dry, I think it will rust if it is left to dry naturally - you get what you pay.
