Solution to our rainwater/mulch issue
This drain with tube is a well built product that solved a simple yet problematic issue of every rain downpour pushing mulch from the gutter to the stone pavers. Over the years have used redirecting rubber floor covers however with still water flow issues, however this one has a large enough basin to catch the rainwater and redirect it with a 3 inch tube to other plants to make it truly multipurpose. The quality of the make seems sturdy. We will see living in the south whether it will hold up to the UV/sun.Word of advice is to bury the box however also make sure the tubing is at a lower elevation or water will pool. I slightly tilted the box so that there will be a minimum of standing water.

exactly what was needed and described
It is exactly as described and works well. Just an arrow on the diagram that comes with the drain would have avoided a few minutes of frustration. The hose screws onto the receptical not as one expects (righty tighty) but rather the reverse (lefty tight in stead of lefty loosey).

Great product
These catch basins are excellent for high volume rain storms. The long hose draws the water far away from our foundation. They're quite durable and are a great value. I'd recommend them to anyone. Make sure you're downspouts are high enough off the ground to drain into the basin.

Control that water!!!
be still my heart! this is what I have been looking for. I purchased two, ready to order a third. The extension hose allows the water run off to be exactly where I want it. I am not using it for gutter run off, but for a leaky faucet that the hose connects to. Bingo! Perfect. The price is right as well. I haven't had it long enough to evaluate durability.

Basin is fine, drain tube and opening are not.
So, the basin part works fine. However, the opening to drain is easy to clog and the tube is low quality. Someone stepped on it while checking the meter and that alone was enough to tear the tub. So, is it functional, yes. Is it high quality, not necessarily. If it fits your budget, go for it. If you are looking for something that has better durability, the basin seems o.k., but you may want to find a better draining tube.

Great invention!
Just what I needed under my drippy spigot in the garden! It works great above ground catching the drips from my spigot and the tube carries the water to my blueberry plant. Very pleased!

Easy drain to install to redirect rain water from gutter spout
I needed a way to direct water coming down from the gutters to be directed to the side of the yard to keep the water from collecting in front of my garage. This drain is very easy to install and we had a little rain immediately after i installed this drain and it looks like it worked great. I did not see any water collecting in front of my garage which is why I bought this drain.

Heavy Rain problems
While it works as advertised the drain hole and tube are overwhelmed during a typical Texas severe thunderstorm (but then it’s not designed to handle that massive amount of water).
