**Q: what is the difference between a KPEXTA and the 5KPEXTA please**
A: I don't know what the difference is all I can tell you is that the 5KPEXTA is the only pasta macine (that I can find) which makes macaroni.  It is the most amazing attachment and very easy to use.  Hope that helps
