Great when not stuck!
These capsules are fantastic and easy to swallow. However, 2 of the times I ordered these one of the capsules must have burst through transit which sticks all the capsules together and it's a HUGE pain trying to unstick them apart. I had to use the handle of a spoon to split each capsule apart from each other and it gets really messy and oily. If you luck out and get it delivered fine with no burst ones it's very easy to take each day.

Really helpful to stop aching knees!
Like another reviewer, I wanted to relieve the joint and muscle pain left by a similar drug to Tamoxifen. I am sure this oil has helped as I am no longer woken in the night by painful knees or "restless legs". Another benefit is that my nails no longer break, but are supple and strong, and although my hair does need more frequent washing, I can cope with this because of all the benefits I am getting. I take one capsule in the morning with my cereal and have no trouble swallowing them. They are rather large, but because they are pliable and not hard, it is no more difficult than swallowing half a cube of jelly. There is no aftertaste at all! I cannot take fish oils because they make me nauseous all day, but these Flaxseed capsules do not repeat or cause any discomfort at all. I am very pleased I tried them.

Do work for dry eyes!....
My usual brand had ran out so I bought these and they are very effective for my severe dry eyes. I've tried many drops and usually had to use them every two to three hours. I wasn't happy with the preservatives in some of these eye drops so my research brought me to flaxseed capsules. Now, they are not a wonder cure, but my symptoms - itching, grittiness, redness and continual tearing - have diminished greatly. Also, I have IBS with dia. I was wary initially about taking flaxseed as it is advised against because it is a mild laxative. So far I haven't had any adverse reaction with the IBS-D. In fact, symptoms have mildly improved. Well, everyone is different! These are my own personal observations on this product, but for the dry eye alone they are a great asset.

Not sure about these
First time I've bought this brand - very pale yellow capsules which all stick together in the pot? Not had this with other brands? Won't buy again...

Good value flaxseed oil capsules
These capsules come in a white plastic bottle with a plastic screw-top lid. They are on the large side, but I have no problem swallowing them with water. Unlike some similar products there is no requirement to keep them in the fridge (though you should of course store them somewhere cool and dry). The capsules are pale yellow and clear. The instructions say to take them with food. They have no taste or smell, and no after-taste either. Neither have I noticed any other unwanted side effects from them.My understanding is that flaxseed oil doesn't contain quite the same wide range of fatty acids as fish oil, though it is still very beneficial to health. As I find fish-based oils repeat unpleasantly on me, that is a compromise I am willing to make.I take one of these capsules a day for general health purposes, but you can take up to six if you want to. I'm not sure why anyone would, though, as each capsule contains a full 1000 mg of flaxseed oil.Overall, I am impressed with these reasonably priced flaxseed oil capsules, and am therefore giving them a full five stars.
