Flawless but remember the low capacity
I give this 5 stars only because it says its an 8MB memory card. As a product Id give it a 3 becuase the very low memory capactiy means you do struggle if you have alot of games.I bought this because I got a new game and my old 64MB card was full so I needed a new one-the capacity is therefore not an issue. As for the quality it was a never-before-opened, flawless condition memory card, it arrived very early as Amazon is extremely good at doing and it works perfectly. If you're buying a new PS2 dont get this-get a 64MB one. If youre just adding to your space this is perfect :)

The Only Memory Card
For me, using the Official cards is the only way to go; I learnt this lesson well when I got a cheap branded card for my PS One years ago, it broke into pieces for nearly no reason, so ever since I have been using the official cards. They are very good to a fashion, but sadly sometimes things happen to them, so if you have few games, make sure you buy two to back up the first one, as they can go wrong. Not sure if this is the PlayStation 2 which does this or whether it's the memory used, but I lost a huge amount of data - in fact I had around 12 game saves on an 8MB card, so beware, and always back up.Otherwise this is a well built card, good plastic and nice little stickers to put on the front of the card so you know what's on them (as they're the same colour). Just make sure to keep them clean, away from bright lights and away from humidity, and they should last you a long time with faultless play.

It is what it is
It's a memory card. You store your data on it. It works. It's an official one, therefore it's not likely to fail on you, unlike the unofficial ones. However one of the two I ordered had some kind of manufacturing fault and had to be replaced, which was slightly inconvenient. The replacement works fine.

Just What I Needed
Been looking for a new PS2 memory card that was not third party for a couple of days when i decided to get this, and i am so glad i did. so far no a problem with games corrupting like others i have previously used. I am very pleased so far and if it last as long as my other official memory card did i will be very very pleased.

In two minds!
On one hand, this product was quickly delivered and with fantastic service! My younger brother was delighted to receive it in the post and instantly used it for his PS2. It certainly kept him quiet...However, this quietness only lasted for a few weeks before he complained that the memory was full. Considering the price, I choose not to get him another. Between the costly price and quick succession rate, I find this to be broad daylight robbery by Sony! Something needs to be done - preferably with a higher memory card storage, a cheaper price and a guarantee that this will work for customers! Don't be taken in with it's description! Weigh up your options first!!!!

Didn't work
As the other reviewer before me said, the item came, and just didn't work,in either memory card slot. I cannot 100% guarantee it's not the PS2 as I bought it second hand and it was the first memory card I tried in it. Considering the PS2 was bought from a retail chain though, I'm going to go ahead and assume the PS2 is fine, and that the memory card was at fault. In which case I shall try buying from someone else as the chances of the two most recent customers (me and the guy before me) both getting a dodgy item by a fluke, seem low. It would lead me to be cautious of buying from this company again, but of course, I cannot condemn them completely on one purchase not working.

"GREAT!!!!"
Great!!!... Having been a gamer for many many years every now and again its allways great fun to dig out the old classic gaming system and play one of the old classic games but low and behold the memory card is allways missing.....Great to just tap a few buttons and have a bit of retro gaming kit posted through the door. Thanks!!! Great service and a good price thats why i've given five stars. Thanks again 👍😎

worked fine
this original make worked fine - had to fiddle around with another non Sony one to make a good connection where the plastic moulding wasn't so good but that one works also ok now and has a lot more memory - guess it makes sense to buy the original for expected quality if you are willing to pay the price or take a chance and get a non original with a lot more capacity for a similar price
