Excellent quality and a perfect size to use specifically as place mats or just as effective as serving platters e.g. Ideal cheese board or for smoked salmon or petit fours. The felt feet are attached well and I can see these providing years of good service. Very stylish. Highly recommended. Well packaged for delivery. I would say though that if these are for a gift, you might want to tie raffia round to tie together, wrap in coloured tissue and put in a strong presentation box as the product packaging itself is rather basic. Excellent value.

These are great!! I actually bought them for photographic purposes so didn’t want to pay a massive amount (unlike others on amazon!) but didn’t want to skimp on quality either. They’re quite heavy and really good quality for the money! I then bought some matching coasters too so they will get used in my new flat

I bought these as a gift for my niece with whom we were staying during a holiday. I was very pleased that it arrived in time before our holiday and was packed well, so it was intact.My niece loved it, she had wanted slate place mats for a long time. The only tiny flaw is that I thought they were slightly bigger...I couln't work that out properly when I ordered them. But in all fairness the price is very good, so only a minor flaw.

Very nice product that looks good and are sturdy, but at the end of the day they are roof slates with four sponge buffers stuck in the bottom. Just a tip for those looking to buy similar. Good but expensive

Not the best purchase I have made. The placemats are thinner than my current ones, Being thinner means they chip easier, as I found on receipt of delivery one had a corner chipped off and the others had slight damage too. I didn`t contact the seller so cannot comment on whether that was successful.

Everyone at Lunch on Boxing Day commented on how contemporary and different these were to a normal placemats. Versatile; I look forward to using them as cheese boards and other serving uses.

Look good and can be used for many different dishes, very pleased with this product and would definitely buy again.

Look lovely though not as big as I imagined. However a large corner has broken off one already!!I thought slate would be durable but it seems not!
