It depends on how hot the ghosts are. This simply detects heat signatures. The ghost of Thomas Jefferson, probably not so hot, but the ghost of Jayne Mansfield will probably burn the screen.

Can you spot Bigfoot in the forest?

10-15 feet is best but it can work 50 feet
