I can't fault this crab net, infact it's the 3 rd ond I've bought, not because they break or anything, but the tides here are ruff and I've managed to get them hooked under the pier and lost. They are perfect size as I have caught not only crabs but also breem and a large smooth hound in it. I have bought other crab nets on Amazon but this is by far the best

These are excellent for crabbing from shore. I live by the shore in Orkney and have put them in at low tide a few times a week for months. They hold up really well for the price, even being used regularly for 24 hours at a time. They catch many more crabs than the more professional trap I own, which cost about 5x as much. They aren't perfect. The crabs manage to chew through the bait bag fairly quickly, which is why I've resorted to just putting a chunk of frozen fish in the trap itself. The thread connecting the zipper sections to the rest of the trap is not very durable, but when this breaks it can be easily repaired using a needle and fishing line to essentially sow the trap back together. Occasionally I've had creatures that manage to cut through the trap itself, but this is rare, and again, can be repaired with some fishing line. I would not recommend these traps to anyone doing commercial fishing or intensive hobby fishing from a boat. The opening isn't super wide and I imagine a full sized lobster or brown crab would have difficulty getting inside. But crabbing for green crabs on the shore, and given the price, I can't recommend these enough.

Generally v pleased with this. I have ordered several. Yes, the quality varies with each order, and yes there are weak points where the net is cut to allow a zip to be stitched in, and yes, you may have to restitch it yourself, but at the price you can't complain. Oh, and with good bait, they definitely work!

It’s well build and super easy to use, ideal for off a harbour wall or sneaking out at low tide and setting it in the rocks. Only thing I did to modify it was to tie 4x 2Oz weights and upgrade the casting rope, it’s cheap and cheerful I expect zips and things to fail but feel that’s mirrored in the price, as with all tools only as good as the user. But for catching bait items all good

It is really good easy to set up and easy and simple to bait unlike other crabbing nets nothing can escape from this one

This arrived nice and early with 48 hour delivery couldn't fault that. However before first use I would recommend ensuring the Zips are secured as the stitching isn't exactly the best. My bait bag zip pulled off in the first 5 minutes so I had to stich the hole up with fishing line before I even cast it out. The larger zip also had a large hole at one end and needed to be secured to stop the catch getting out. However once that was done it worked perfect I caught 2 lobster in about an hour on Sunday as well as smaller fish and crabs

For the price this is a great product. As others state, the bait section of it falls apart quickly, however I just bung in the bait and seems to work still. Caught 2 foot eel, rocking and many crabs. Waiting on that lobster now...

Je les utilises pour la pêche aux écrevisses dans des endroits plein de branche super solide la poche à appâts et la fermeture éclaire pour récupérer sa pêche sont top leur poid est idéal pas trop lourde pour les promener sur plusieurs mètres et pas trop légère elle coule bien donc pas de plomb à ajouter

Io ne ho acquistato due perché il mio laghetto era/è infestata dai famigerati gamberi killer (gamberi della Louisiana che uno sconsiderato aveva importato per fare un commercio che non ha avuto succeso e quindi ha pensato bene di 'mollarli' nel ruscello più vicino, così ora hanno letteralmente infestata l'Italia). Hanno funzionato a meraviglia - l'unico neo che trovo è la cerniera di apertura per accedere al sacchetto per l'esca: entrambi si sono rotti presto ma abbiamo rimediato con filo di ferro plastificato per "cucire" invece di usare la cerniera e due scatolette di plastica che abbiamo forato e usiamo per infilare l'esca (fegato di manzo). Ma per il resto le nasse fanno loro lavoro egregemente.

Trampa genial para cangrejo , compré dos y superan cualquier expectativa las deje de noche y levante a la mañana y no cabía ni uno más gracias a su sistema de embudo lo que entra no sale y muy fácil de recoger y muy compensada a la hora de sumergirse

muy ajustada a su propaganda, todavía no la he probado pero me parece muy correcta y eficaz, espero que resulte practica
