Great value to create a stunning moss wall
Great product. Easy to use and allows for flexibility on how you want to design your moss wall/carpet.Great value as well since you get cables ties and suction cups included. The mesh is easy to cut if needs be and since its black it blends in well and makes a great contrast against the green moss.If you want to create a lush moss wall then I highly recommend you purchase this product. Obviously the moss is not included and you will have to give the moss a few weeks/months to fill in but trust me, it's worth it.

Good product
This was my third purchase. Two for walls in different aquariums and one to make a carpet. All are starting to look good . Recommend using fishing wire to knit mesh together. If they included some then it would get five stars.

Fine if use fishing line on a single layer.
First used it as instructed but my Emperor Tetras kept getting stuck inbetween mesh layers or being layers. After deciding it was only a matter of time before I lost a few fish, I separated the layers and only used one instead. I used cheap fishing line to attach moss to mesh instead of sandwiching between 2 meshes. Now they are much safer to the fish and shows the moss of much better. As added bonus get twice as much real estate from meshes.

A useful and effective kit.
This is a handy kit to enable you to cover a large area of the aquarium wall with moss in one go. The suction pads did mean I had to snip a little piece out of the mesh to push them through as the mesh holes are quite small but this was easily done. Once the moss has been sandwiched between the two large mesh pieces, it is easy enough to cable tie it together and is very secure - no moss escaping. The first day the mesh wall was put into my tank, there were cherry shrimps feeding off it within half an hour, and so far it has stayed attached to the tank wall without moving despite a 12inch gibbicept catfish sharing the tank space. Hopefully the Java moss will quickly grow through and hide the mesh but even as it is it keeps the moss tidy and no longer floating adrift and blocking the filter. My one complaint would be that no instructions are supplied but it is fairly obvious what to do with the kit. I initially had some problems with my order and received an incorrect item but Marimo Store were excellent and very quickly replaced it with the right one. I would happily use them again. This is a good product for a beginner to use for a quick result effect and no sewing or tying needed.

A Danger to your fish - Not recommended
I have just lost a Female Odessa Barb that got stuck between the two layers of plastic. I managed to rescue a second male barb. Overall this product is very bad. The suckers do not fit the holes in the plastic and keep coming off.Note: If you # cut the plastic # you will leave sharp edges your fish can cut them selves on.It looks like this product is collection of three products that were not designed to used together. If they were it was very poorly designed. There must be another way of making the product using different materials.

Great idea.
Let me start by saying that I didn't exactly use this kit as intended. It's designed to be attached to a flat surface and I decided to wrap mine around the filter housing of my Marina 360.This used about half of the mesh provided. I then used the cable ties to secure the top and bottom edges and one in the middle. To get it to stay put around the cylindrical surface, I used one suction cup on each side to stop it slipping down, then used string to 'lace' it up at the back, leaving a gap around the back.I'm really happy with the end result as it looks a lot more natural than the white plastic. 20g of java moss was plenty for my project and provided complete coverage.

Its as good as far as it goes
Some reviewers have suggested that you can purchase the individual parts cheaper. For the cable ties and suckers that may be true but I have not seen the plastic mesh anywhere on its own. It works but I found I needed more cable ties. Its really three individual parts put together in a pack, there are more elegant ways to keep the two layers of mesh together. The suckers are designed for some other use hence you have to cut the mesh to make holes in the rear layer and you only get 5 suckers, six would have been better and 8 even better. As with all suckers of this type there can be issues with continued adhesion and I find my setup (3 sets for my 300 ltr tank) suffers from suckers coming away from the tank rear wall or the weight of the moss pulling the mesh away from the sucker(s). As for fish getting caught in the mesh, so far I have had no problems in my community tank containing breeding live bearing fish with all sizes of young and growing fry. It is surprising how much moss you need to produce initially a thick moss wall. I started out with 1 mesh set and once the moss had grown considerably and some had broken off and was floating on the top of the aquarium I built a second wall. There is no doubt that you can grown an attractive and thick moss wall with this kit, the time it takes will depend on a number of factors including the addition of CO2 either as a gas or in liquid form and in a well planted tank you will require additional liquid plant food. Overall a good product spoilt by insufficient cable ties and suckers
