Another excellent Trend product.Centering the hole in the hinge so the screw drives in correctly has always been a problem.Get it slightly wrong and the head of the screw will never lie flush in the hinge.This product eliminates that.Make sure you buy the correct size for your hinge, so that the counter sink fits nicely in the hinge holes, (this model is for an 8 gauge screw. The metric equivalent is 4mm).Then it's such a simple process. The drill will automatically find the centre.Result, perfectly flush screws everytime.Recommended.I hope you found this review helpful.

I live in a Victorian house where all the internal doors swing open into the room instead folding back towards the wall. I believe the original purpose was to shield the activities of the occupants of the room from the eyes of one's servants as they entered the room. Unnecessary use of floor space since we let the maid go. Six doors to rehang - one ham fisted diy fiend with dad's chisels, some strips of thick card to keep the clearances equal, and a Snappy Drill Bit Guide. All hinges fitted true and straight, all doors closing perfectly = happy wife.

One of the best purchases for my toolbox. I bought this after seeing my brother in law use one to pre drill holes to put some kitchen cabinets together. I used this to install IKEA blinds and it made my task so easily.

have used the item for a couple of weeks and the spring is loose already .bought this as the cheaper ones do the same but was expecting a trend that costs 4 times as much to last bit longer than that! needs a new spring or if not possible then should be replaced in my opinion

I'd often seen these used in Youtube tutorials so I decided to buy one, the first one I bought was a cheapo and the spring kept on jamming up and was frustrating to say the least. I then decided to go for a recognised named brand and bought this one and it functions well and makes hardware fitting much easier. It's well made and durable should last for years I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
