Hi cam yes the answer to your question is this control freaks work for either ps4 or PS3 they work well controling the sensitivity on first person shooters giving you that extra advantage BUT NOTE PS3/ps4 - there are separate from each other ie ps4 control freaks won't work for PS3 control freaks - thanks my experience HAPPY GAMING
