Plastic Padding White Gelcoat Filler 180ml

I bought this product back in May 2019 to repair a stress crack on the corner of my caravan. I had the time and the weather to try it today. I cleaned out the crack with a sharp blade and widened it a little to get the gel resin into the surface and give it something to bond with. I mixed a small quantity with the hardener, spread it into the crack and slightly over the surrounding area to leave a raised surface. I covered the area with strips of sellotape (see YouTube videos) to seal the surface which apparently helps with hardening. After about 1 hour it was rock hard and ready for sanding down. I used progressively finer wet and dry paper to smooth it down. Im delighted with the results. The colour is slightly whiter than my 13 year old caravan but the repair it's good and will keep the moisture out and prolong the life if my caravan. Very pleased and very low cost.

Easy to use gel coat filler, I bought a Topper Buzz just before lock down which I knew needed some love, it was full of drilled holes from pasts deck fitting and numerous deep scratches in the hull and dents of missing Gel Coat in the leading edges of the rudder and centre plate, this did a great job of filling all of these that you can hardly notice. A bit of YouTube tutorial and great results. Really pleased with the results.

It was no good for taking black streaks of my motorhome so for me it was a waste of money
